Kathryn Young: We are trying to keep our dog from peeing on our bedroom floor. For whatever reason he thinks its ok for him to lift his leg and pee on the corners of our footboard/bedspread. Cleaners, deterrant sprays and butt slaps just didn't work. Of course it always happens while we sleep. Putting down peepads just made it worse and made our room look horrible. I hoped this would work and it did keep him from peeing in the two spots so he picked another spot. Not going to cover my bedroom floor with these. Alas, I am returning them. We have both accidentally stepped on them and those spikes hurt like hell. This is a hard plastic with no give. I stepped full force on one and I almost went head first thru our bathroom door. I feel bad for any dog that steps or jumps on one. Our last resort is pee bands.

catherine: The media could not be loaded.  I have had these for a year and they have been great keeping my dogs off the furniture. Until recently…I’ve been coming home to all 4 of these piled on the side of the couch 😂 it took him an entire year to figure it out but he did. I can’t even be mad. I’d still buy these because the work for my other dog. Of course until this one moves them all and then it’s fair game.

jayhawk: Had a puppy that kept going into laundry room and getting clothes to chew on. Put this in doorway and he learned real fast he wasn't allowed in that room. As he got taller he would bump the trash drawer and get into it. So we laid one of these on top of trash cans and again solve the problem. It does hurt to walk on so you have to remember where you put it.

Renee Seder: I put these on our couch the other day, to keep one of my Royal Poodles off the couch. I was sitting on one end and our poodle grabbed one with his teeth and put it on the floor! He jumped on the couch! I’ve been outsmarted by my dog! Great product though, for people with normal dogs!

K of Essex: Great item, would highly recommend. I have since ordered more and can’t wait for them to arrive. They may seem pricey but in comparison to having to recover or purchase a new sofa or armchair they are value for money. They really do the job they are suppose to. When not in use they can easily slide under the sofa out of sight.

Sue: This may work well with smaller to possibly medium sized dogs My 2 mastiffs walked over this after I placed it on the floor in front of the couch and promptly peed over it ( I bought 4 in total). Placing it on a couch and also counter, they pushed it down. Therefore this did not work for me. It is also VERY expensive for what it is. If you own a lab or golden or similar sized dog, I would give this a pass also. I am giving it 3 stars for the concept which could work if this thing was larger and had a way to stay stationary once placed. Otherwise its another waste of money as I hunt to prevent my dogs from going on the couch.
