I love the way the dress fits. It is flattering and very comfortable. I especially like the polka dots and the fact that the fabric is not sheer.

SCSC: I did like this dress. The fit and fabric was nice. I just didn't love how the top laid. I couldn't avoid having bumps from where bra straps were underneath, which was fairly noticeable.

Barb Taubel: I like this dress. I only gave four stars because the pleats on the skirt part are attached to the waistband at a point that highlights my tummy pooch, even with a support garment. But, I still like the dress, I got the one with the stripes on the bottom. I don't like florals that much so it was nice to find this one.

AmandaAmanda: I was hesitant to buy clothes from Amazon but after reading reviews, I decided to take a chance. It totally worked out! The dress fits true to size in my opinion. For reference: I am 5’8”, 175-180lbs, normally a size Med/Lrg with a D chest and this fits perfect. I don’t have much for hips and the pockets help flair the shirt out which gives an illusion of some shape for me. If I have to write any “cons” it would be that the pockets could have been placed a bit lower down but it’s ok, I’m not putting anything in them and the price is a bit high.
Overall, this is a great summer dress. I highly recommend it.

Linda schnare: The bodice of this dress is very pretty, but the prettiness ends with the solid colour. I ordered the striped skirt version because, in the photos, the colours looked vibrant, happy. Before I even had the dress out of the plastic bag I was disappointed. The colours are dull, almost like what happens to otherwise bright colours after multiple washings over years. What I suppose is a white stripe, which would have been great to make the other colours “pop” actually looks like a dirty white or pale cream. That the stripes are not matched at the seams is another problem, as are the stripes in the high waistband not even attempting to match up with those in the skirt part. Plus, you can’t have an a-line skirt that is also a “swing” skirt - it is either/or, not both. The pleats would only be appropriate if one was pregnant.
The fabric is a major issue for me. I seriously doubt the 65% cotton claim. The fabric, especially in the skirt and waistband sections of the dress, is not a smooth weave/knit and would pick and, for a garment that purports to be washable, pill extremely easily and readily.
I ordered the dress for the fall wedding of my most vibrant and outgoing niece...

JT - Vancouver, BC: Exactly what a wanted: a simple, comfortable (fabric has some stretch) little black dress that I can dress up or down. Minimizes the common “problem areas” of a 50+ year old body (tummy, upper arms, love a 3/4 sleeve). I could probably wear this through 3 seasons, anytime but a hot summer day. I wanted a dress I could wear to a funeral that could also potentially be a cocktail dress and/or office outfit, topped with a blazer. This dress has the versatility to do it all with the right accessories. I’m 5 ft 4 and 165 lbs, busty (43”) and the XL fits perfectly. The waistband sits a bit above my natural waist, almost an empire waist, which suits me fine. Fabric hangs nicely, not flimsy. Definitely recommend.
