Paula B: I ordered an XL and normally wear a size 16. They had great stretch and felt great without being too loose or too tight. The length was good as well. My reason for returning, was that I ordered the dark blue color, but the lighter highlights were in non flattering locations showing highlight to the crotch area.

Noneyabizness808Noneyabizness808: Hi! Now that I got your attention..here’s my take on this item. But first let me give you deets on myself for reference. 5’4” @ 135lbs. Purchased medium.
Fits perfect. Very high waisted shorts. At first it bothered me but I think if I wear it with the right top, it will be just fine. Not too tight around the thigh area which I love about it. And the denim gives a little stretch.
The only thing that bothered me about this shorts was the fringes. It just reminded me of ruffle lining on little girls dress so I snipped them all of them off. Crooked cuts to give it a more distressed look. Gonna throw it in the wash. So that it doesn’t look like I just made the cuts. It’s way more better look for me now that I don’t feel conscious about the “ruffle look.”
Gonna be making more purchase now that the fit is right and the less distress look make the shorts look that much more better (for me)
