These fit like a comfortable medium,or probably seen as a large for most women…not a tight fit.They are very comfortable fabric with a touch of weight to them so they don’t turn into a wrinkled mess,but not enough to be warm or hang heavy.I got the black with sunflowers and they are really cute,I’m older and the length is about 5 inches above the knee if you wear them at a comfortable low level.These are a slightly baggy fit,not fitted so they move when you walk.
I haven’t washed them yet but I will be doing a hand wash cycle and probably air dry as I like the current fit and don’t want to have them shrink.

32 waist (these have a lot of waist stretch,Maybe 5 more inches) I like baggy shorts so if you want a true fitting medium……you might try a small.

Returning. There is a lot of weird extra material in the shorts. It is especially noticeable when you sit down! The elastic in the waistband was too tight and my stomach was hurting after five minutes. It was not linen which I didn’t expect it to be. it’s made from cotton. If the fit was right I would have kept them. The shorts were soft and the color was what I expected it to be. The length was good too. Real pockets in the front and back.
There are several listings of the same shorts with the same pictures. I ordered this one because it had the most reviews.

I've been looking for this style of shorts, but they were sold out at the stores I usually shop at so I ordered from here instead. They are good quality, comfy and cute. My only complaint is that the fabric wrinkles easily. I'm a size 8/10 or 29/30 in jeans and ordered these in a Large. The waistband in snug but stretchy, with plenty of room in the rear and legs.

So comfy!! They do run small so make sure you pay attention to the size chart and measure where you want the short to sit. I normally wear a 6 but I like my shorts to sit more on my hip than waist so I ordered a large and they fit perfect. Also they are nice and thin so they will be perfect for when it warms up.
