TammyTammy: The size is too small. Other than that this item, “flex to go” Lee shorts, are a good fit for me.
I had major surgery on my lower back and pelvic area and couldn’t wear my clothes because they hurt my surgical site. My Sister had me try her “flex to go Lee shorts and They Didn’t Hurt It🥲. The stretch waist was very comfortable and they looked flattering on me. So, I went on Amazon and I bought two pair in a size 12 which didn’t fit due to weight gain related to inactivity from the surgery. The “Problem” is that this item is “extremely hard to find”. Every site I went to, including Amazon said temporarily out of stalk. I need and want these shorts mostly because they fit me better than any other kind of shorts.

J Lynn: Perfect leg length and width, size 12 fits great, which is my usual size, 5 ft 7 inches, 165 lbs. I would love to order a couple more colours should they become available. The waist band is super comfy and I'll not tuck in my tops so no need to cover with belt. The weight is perfect for shorts. These might be the best shorts I have owned in many years.

Margaret Potter: I bought a similar pair which I loved, from the same manufacturer but they were no longer available in my size on Amazon. These are the same size and look the same but are shorter and do not fit the same. They are constantly riding up as if I needed a larger pair but a larger pair would be too big and falling down all the time.

Marcus AureliusMarcus Aurelius: Absolutely love the fit and feel. I purchased the size 10. I am 5'7 & fluctuate in weight of 157 to 163 and in bottoms depending on brand wear sizes 9,10&12. My Levi's are 33 in the waist and dresses 10 & 12 usually. I have been working out to try to get back to a 8 for last 2 and a half years and decided I will never get back to the size I have had for 18 years & my last 2 kids and age combined that no matter how hard I work out size 10 I will be and time to donate all my prior clothes & find clothes I love and get multiple items of clothing I love. I think these are the best shorts I have come across and intend to get more colors and duplicate the ink blue so next year I will have replacement shorts on hand!!! These feel great and move with my body and when I sit they have the flex needed in them so that I dont have an insane muffin top!! They sit nicely on my body standing, walking, sitting, squatting and when stepping upward. Love these!! And I can fluctuate in weight freely and not worry because of the waist band that looks stylish though much of it is elastic. The shorts aren't to high on the thigh and not to low. Perfect for all ages!! They dont make you...

Ms. Walsh: 5'6" with a few extra pounds - pear shaped, if that helps anyone considering these shorts. I like them. I usually wear 12-14, but the size chart indicated I needed a 16-18 I went with 16, unfortunately. They are too large and the comfy waistband would have allowed me to get a smaller size. The material is nice, summer thin, but does wrinkle, after wearing and even after hand washing and line dry. The button pockets are lovely and practicle. One drawback for me is that when I ride my bike these shorts' legs tend to ride up to the "poom poom" area.... so I think I'll go with a longer short that I can roll up or that's tighter on the legs when I next order shorts.

KadyOne: This is now my 4th pair of these shorts. I love everything about them except for the length. As an older/mature woman, I'd would sure like another inch or two in the inseam.

That would make me a lot more comfortable wearing in public ... and I'm in Florida, so I wear shorts 98% of the time unless I'm going to a doctor's or lawyer's office, or into the bank -- they are just too short for business-like environments. At least, for me ... I tend to be a modest dresser.

But I wear them around the house and when doing some gardening. They are sturdy fabric and strong sewing. A little pricey for grubby days outside, but def a winner.

E. R.: Right now I’m trying desperately to lose weight and need shorts that will fit me now and still fit as I shed about 6-7 pounds. I’m leaving for a month long cruise and I don’t want to have to watch what I eat. At my current weight (103 pounds) my clothes don’t fit (only my tops fit now) - I should be no more than about 95 pounds and these seem to be a good solution. The waist does stretch and the length, stomach and butt look good. I have a large investment in leggings and jeans that are a size 0-2 so I am determined to get them to fit once again. I’m not a ‘young’ person (60+ years) but I like to dress like I am and these are perfect - I would say they’re good for any age. If I had to call it something I’d say they’re conservative looking. Now that I’ve found these I’m going to buy at least one or two more colors before I leave in 3 weeks. The price is very good and the quality seems to be also. I haven’t yet washed them but will do as always - inside out, cold water, gentle cycle and tumble dry on low heat until damp. I hate to iron anything and this has worked for me with almost everything (except ‘dry clean only’ items).
