MarsMars: I ordered the color Stone, which is a tan color, but I received the white one. It’s very bright white and see through which is why I ordered the tan. You can tell it’s the wrong color because the string should be the same color as the shorts, like in the product photo, but it’s tan and they’re stark white. I’m going on vacation in 2 days so I don’t really have time to order another one. The material is a nice linen though and it fit well. For size reference, I got an extra small and I’m 5’7” and between 120 and 125 pounds with a 25” waist and 35.5in hips, if that helps anyone. I was debating small and extra small but the extra small is better

Twinpossible: I love both of my new pairs of shorts 👍! I got the navy blue & army green ones. Sooo cute & even better? Most are on a great sale right now! That’s when I swoop up the deals 😜!!

Also, I’d think it would possibly be the opposite, but it’s not, the pants version of these shorts fit me in size XS. I have several. The shorts? I had to return XS & I went with S & it fits like the pants do but a size higher 🤷‍♀️. Pretty funny lol. Just making note of that one.

NB: These shorts seemed fine to start with, even though they were a quite loose and baggy. But a few minutes after wearing them (in 40C+/104F+ degree weather) they just got looser and looser. When I tied the rope waist tie it ended up folding the shorts so much at the front that it just looked ridiculous. I'm a size UK6 (24in waist) I think the XS would be more suited to a size UK 8 or bigger.

NB: These shorts have a linen-like appearance and feel. Lightweight and comfy. They're a bit longer than they appear on the model in the pictures so they're ideal for me (5ft4). I ordered XS and they fit great - loose fitting, which is what I wanted. I usually wear size 24 or 25 jeans (4-6 UK size or 00-0 US size).

Amy: With all the high-waisted shorts these days, these almost felt a bit too low (they sit right around the hip bone) but the draw string waist helps you get a good fit. The fabric felt a bit tight when I first tried them on but they definitely stretched out with wear. I would recommend buying your normal size. I have a 27 inch waist (at the narrowest part) and 36 inch hips (at the widest part) and the xs fit best (I tried the small first and it was a bit too baggy). Glad I switched to the extra-small considering how much they bagged out.

Jauna Crichton: Great casual short. Give a bit of a linen look. They are short, but not too short. I’m 55, and have several pairs. If your worried about camouflaging the dredged cellulite, go one size up. I highly recommend.
