Nel: I have had these boots for 3 years and could not be more pleasantly surprised. These boots are decently priced and I originally bought them in a pinch thinking I would replace them soon after but they are going strong. They didn’t need any breaking in when I got them and I even wore them through the winter because the water proofing was even better than my winter boots. I love hiking and tromping through the woods so I definitely put them to the test and they stood up to the challenge.

Orch1d: I just moved to Cali from up North and was not able to bring my Scarpas, they were heavy and I bought those almost 15 years ago. I love them but would have to bring them over later. I got this as a hiking shoe for Cali. Firstly they are lighter, secondly, they have vents, thirdly the ankle support is great for the hilly steep hiking in SF, SJC areas. In a regular shoe I wear 6.5 but bought these a 1 size bigger because apparently you should buy slightly bigger not only to fit socks but for hiking to allow for movement. Further apparently as you age, foot gets flatter and shoe size gradually increases. I have really high arches and often have difficulty finding a comfortable pair of shoes. I am happy with the arch support in this shoe as I paired it with some super cushy socks. They do slip a touch but am overall happy I did not pay $150 USD which seems min around here for a good shoe. The whole industry is getting nuts! Happy with these. They also dont look cheap. Only thing I am not super happy about are the very top lace holders. They appear plastic and dont have a curve to catch the lace so when you tie, they dont slip out. Small issue but would have made the shoe 5 star. I am...
