BeachLove: Update: I purchased a second pair for my daughter. She’s a 7. When she tried mine on they were rubbing right at her toes so since there’s no half sizes I got her an 8. That was way too big, a full size bigger. So if you’re a half size, go up one, if you’re a full size try your actual size and see. From our experience they run small by only half size.
Original review: I’m a 6.5, got 7 and they fit perfectly. They are very comfortable. There is that bump in the center that other reviewers mention but it doesn’t bother me. If you wear them outside for over an hour your feet do get sweaty but that’s understandable as they are foam. Highly recommend.

Lauren Williams: I got a pair of the light pink sandals with white buckles a year ago and they are soo comfy. I loved them! I wore them so often they were wearing down to the ground in spots, so I ordered more. I decided on black this time because the pink got dirty really easily. There were a few different black styles so I wasn't sure which one to get, but I picked the ones that looked most similar to my old ones. They definitely are not the same. They are still cute, and not uncomfortable...just nowhere near as comfy as my pink ones. They also had a really really strong odor when I first opened the package. My others didn't smell at all.

FLGulfGrnEz: I had pretty much destroyed my Gucci flops, needed replacing with as useful, perhaps a little less costly. FOUND these and boy was I surprised. Who knew I could buy modern flip flops that "aren't" mom's (or my mom) flip flops, don't slide in them, don't trip in them, especially don't break toes in them! I didn't break my toes but my poor mother did! She'd broken several "little" toes running feet first, toes bared, then the sound !@!#*+! Found out later that scream was mom cursing all the furniture! Seemed to me flip flops were to blame, not furniture unless... it had a special grudge to square w/mom? She didn't like the washing machine much either.... hmm?
Either way I wasn't going to push MY luck! So I NEVER, not EVER wore flip flops because of possible toe curses.
So here I am, a 3rd generation native Floridian, won't wear open toe flats anywhere, beach included. I wore BOOTS, yes western boots most everywhere and never broke anything they covered. I got a pass being 8. Making sure I'd always have a need for boots, next came the horse that went w/them and never looked back!
Fast forward to now. I am not 8 anymore, horses long gone, replaced w/ex's and kids.** I...

TM ConwayTM Conway: To stop any squeaking when walking in these, use a little oil. I couldn't figure out why these squeak. I finally realized that it is coming from the clasps. Undo the across-the-toe clasps and use a little coconut oil or something. Rub it under and around the insides of the clasps. Problem solved. You have to do this every few days or so as the oils dries out.
After 7 months, I am about to put these up for the winter. They are still my favorite and most comfortable "budget" earth-type shoes. The one thing I have noticed is that in the past few weeks, they have developed a slight creaking sound when I walk. I don't know how to fix this. It might be just this pair? At any rate, I still give them high marks and I might spray them with some conditioning oil before I store them for the winter to see if that helps.
