Geek Ambrosia: DO NOT SIZE DOWN!!!!! VERY NARROW!!!
These boots are absolutely made smaller than usual & are extremely narrow/pointy in the toe box. I typically wear a 9.5US to 10US in women's shoes. But then again, everything is sized completely different so it's almost irrelevant until you try on several pairs to confirm actual sizing.
I tried to base the sizing of these off my other 3 pairs of Doc Martens, which probably would have been fine had I realized just how ridiculously narrow the toe box actually is. And I mean super, ridiculously, painfully, narrow. They squeeze & crush my toes together & cause a lot of pain & foot cramping.
I have a pair of Vegan Jadon II boots in a women's 9US (41EU) and they fit fine, if not a tad loose. I have a pair of 8312 Oxfords in women's 9US (41EU) and they are HUGE, & very loose. And I have a pair of Phina boots in 10US (42EU) which are also HUGE & very loose.
So I ordered the Leona in 9US (41EU) since nearly everyone on here claims they run so massively huge. BIG MISTAKE. These babies are so freaking tight my feet are completely numb within about 20 seconds. They stretch out right?? Well I kept them,...

Jessica: I have dreamed of these boots for years, after I was given a knock off pair by a family member. I adored those too, but dreamed of the day of getting the real deal- The Docs... and I can say, I am not disappointed! Well worth the wait. Not as painful as I had read that they would be, and absolutely gorgeous! I’m a brown/tan shoe lover... and these do not disappoint!!! I’m so excited, BUT time will be the true test. If my love for these change, I will edit this. Let’s hope that’s not the case!

barbara hutchins: Ok so I love the way they look. I’m a US size 9 in everything. I got these in the UK 5 or whatever and they were still too big. I need to tie them as tight as possible so my foot doesn’t lift in them. I don’t usually wear super thick socks but that would probably help with the problem. I’ve had them for a year now and theyre easy to put on. So moral of the story is if they feel a little big when you get them, it’s worth it to return for a smaller size. And if you have narrower feet like me size down for sure. Otherwise great boots and no defects.

A: I usually wear a 8.5 or 9 in other brands like Nike or adidas but I decided to get an 8 since I know these run larger. I’ve tried on docs in a 9 before and they def felt too large and since these have a chunky sole I thought I would be safer in an 8. They fit perfect. I wore them to work the day I got them and stood all day(I do hair) and they were so comfy! I wore these every day for like 4 months because I loved them so much and only stopped wearing them since it’s warmer out. The brown color is beautiful, I can’t even count how many compliments I got on these boots, at least one a day. Two of my coworkers bought the same boots because they like them so much. I’m probably going to buy another color for next winter because I love them so much. I might even buy another pair in the same brown color for the future incase they stop making these.

Dressler FamilyDressler Family: First impressions: Love these boots! I’m 5’4” and I feel so tall and powerful! I put on some tall socks and just put these on and they already feel so comfortable! I was worried they’d be super uncomfortable because of the way people talk about them and I will say I haven’t done a long term wear test YET. I generally wear a 8.5 or 9 and I ordered these in a (US) size 8 and they fit perfectly!! The Dr Martens website has a great size chart and you can measure your feet and use the measurements to find the correct size. They feel heavy in your hands but you can hardly feel any extra weight on your feet! Also I’ve seen people saying they’ve gotten fake Docs online but these seem every bit the real deal. The classic yellow stitching, the real leather smell, the pull tabs, logo on the inside sole, and Dr Martens patterned tissue paper in the box are all there!

JamiLouJamiLou: This is my all time favorite style of Dr.’s! The color is beautiful and I love the little marks they get because it makes them look loved in. But also if I wear them with a nice dark denim high waisted flare jean I can easily rub the leather just from the oils in my hands and the marks disappear. Dooney and Bourke will tell you the same thing to do with their handbags to get nicks out of certain types of leather. And this type of leather I git matches my handbag perfectly. I love dressing these up or down. Wearing with skinny jeans or flairs. I’ve worn them with shorts in the summer on the four wheelers! Awesome awesome! And the soles will last and last! I love this brand. High quality! They always have been! Keep up the good work Dr. Marten!😆😆😆😆😆
