Amazon Customer: I read all the reviews and I was a little skeptical as too how much I’d like them in person, they almost look like plain o’ work boots but OMG I’m telling you buy them NOW! You will not be disappointed - I am gonna be a hot walking mama in these! I did size down, I’m usually a 8.5 and the 8 fits me perfect! SUCH BEAUTIFUL BOOTS. I’m so glad I got them!

amanda: This is an early review as it’s my first day. I wear a size 10.5. They didn’t have half sizes and I was afraid the 10 would be to tight so I went with 11 , they are hard to get your foot into , but I’m sure that will break in, they are wider than I expected so there’s a lot of room that I’m not use to , a half inch to big . Hoping when they break in they won’t change much or my foot will be sloppy in them

amber: I ordered these boots around 5 years ago. They are still going strong. I love that they pull on, are super cute with absolutely everything and are so durable. I only bought this pair because they are 1/2 the price right now and I just love them so much I needed another pair to have a back up. If i had more money to blow I would order 5 more pairs ,haha!

Maria P: I too received the wrong size in the right box (a size 9 in the size 8 box, which is what I wanted.) I then returned them and reordered another size 8. They arrived with no box at all (which is pretty weird), and came in a plastic bag. Anyways, these fit great and are comfy, though I did at an insole.

I’m normally 8.5/9 and these definitely run big. Even the size 8s are big, though the insole helps.

Faith Lehane: I pretty much wear these boots to walk to work, to work in and then to walk back. The first time I wore them I was worried because slipping them on was a freaking arm workout, but with continuous use I'm pretty sure it's stretched and now I just slip in and out of it. When I took them out of the box, they did look like they'd been worn once or twice. Since there was no smell and no long-lasting scuffs or marks I just went ahead and kept them. Plus on the actual Dr. Marten website it would've cost 120 and I got it for 90 here so I'm taking it as a win, expecting these to last 5+ years like my other Docs have. Highly recommend!

Seb.Art: These boots are PERFECT! As expected from the other reviews they do run a size large. I’m a 7.5-8 and bought a 7 and they fit perfectly with a bit of room for thick socks. The leather was stiff when they first arrived, but they took no more than ~3 days of walking around to get comfortable in.

DO NOT WALK FOR LONG DISTANCES THE FIRST FEW TIMES YOU WEAR THEM! I walked for about 30 minutes total to my gym and back home and I got a blister on my toe lol. I also suggest wearing slightly higher socks your first few wears, as they’ll rub on your ankles quite a bit. Now I’ve worn them for about a week and they’re totally comfortable. 5/5 product, I’m sure they’ll last me for ages.

SL: I really like this boot. A nice Chelsea boot but with a chunky heel that makes it a bit more edgy. I like that you could wear this causally or wear it in a business casual setting. They are also slip on which is a major plus! I would say that they do fit a bit on the larger size but I think it is more about how snug you like your boot to feel. I tried on a 7US and 8US (8US is my normal size) and I decided to go with the 7 only because I wanted the boot to look more snug on my foot and I do not wear thick socks. I have been wearing them around my house and they have already loosened a bit. Overall I think these boots are a great add on to my doc collection.

Amazon Customer: I tried other Dr Martens 2976 styles and this one fits my style with wide leg jean , cropped jean, skinny jean the most . Not only does it have some heel and but also the platform 2976 high end is having. I am 5ft 3 , petite, as for boot's comfort, i would usually buy a size bigger 8 , however, you should always size down to your true fit. It will even stretch very soon. I bought size 7US lady size. It is still having room for a pair of wool socks when it is new.

I am also having the concern of breaking in for the first time, it is not hard at all using the yellow pull tab attached. The opening is bit narrower than other style . Your leg looks elongated . I just love it so much.
