Mountain Dweller: Pros: Overall pretty quiet. It's ADHD-proof. It looks great. It reaches temperature pretty fast. It's solidly customizable without being overwhelming.

Cons: There's no dedicated "keep warm" button. You can only apply the "keep warm" option while the water is heating up. Sometimes I don't think to set it until after the water is boiled, and then it only take a split second to re-boil, which makes it difficult to apply the warming option.
The lid comes off completely, so if you just boiled water and need to boil another liter, you have to figure out where to put the lid, either bottom-down, where the condensation might pick up crumbs or dust from the counter, or bottom-up, where there's very little maneuvering space to pick up again if the lid is still hot. So far I haven't burnt myself, but it's kind of annoying.

Tim G.: I bought this for making tea with a Chinese tea service, so I need good pour control, which it has. I will also use it for pour-over coffee. Very sleek looking, heats fast and pretty quiet. A lot of different temperature presets to choose from and you can set your own. Can hold temperature setting for 1 hour, which I use when brewing tea. Highly recommend.

Janie G.Janie G.: My first kettle and I'm super impressed. It works great and my initial attempts at 'pour over' coffee and for loose tea use are moving right along.
It is easy to wipe dry and it looks lovely on my counter.
The controls are easy to see once unit is plugged into outlet.
The only minor negative is the amount of pressure required to change temperature. Seems like they could have made this more sensitive. Also could have allowed the temperature sensor to move rapidly when button depressed. As it is you have to forceably hit, hit, hit it again to get temp to change.
Other than that it's super. It's quick and easy to use.
OM Box came a bunch of greasey substance on it but unit inside not affected.
I'd recommend and very happy with price, too.

Matthew Lawrence: The media could not be loaded.  The black finish looks great and after about 6 months shows no signs of wear. The features that I especially like are the different pre-set temperatures available, and the “hold” feature that allows you to set a desired temp, walk away to do other things, and return whenever you want to find the water ready to pour. Solid construction, easy to read and well-lit buttons, and fast heating to boil. It’s a little tricky getting used to the pre-sets at first but it quickly becomes intuitive. We had to keep the user’s guide close at hand for a couple days before we got used to it easily. Well worth it!
