I decided to change the battery and it works fine now. I guess it just came to me with a weak battery.

Benjamin Z.: Got the product for our business to cover two doors with two different tones to know which door was opened. It was very easy to set up (entirely too many tones to have to go through) and worked great when it worked. It worked for about a month or two and quit working. Got ahold of seller and they did all the usual check battery, etc questions. They shipped out a new item and got it set up. This time it worked for around a month and quit working again. I had some spare parts since I bought a 3 pack to begin with and they sent out a new 3 pack. I got it working again but after another 2-3 months it quit working again.
I reached out the seller again and did what they asked and still no luck. I asked for a refund which they did. Ended up finding a higher end system from 1800Doorbell and waiting for it to arrive now. Fingers crossed.
