Wireless Bluetooth BBQ Grill Thermometer with Upgraded Stainless Steel Probe

Bored_BloodletterofKorne: This is their single probe product. I was on a budget and needed something that i could track from inside. I like to sear my steaks and then offset cook to 135. Once your setup the app works well. Like with most software the UI isn't perfect, but you can easily get it work all the time once you figure it out. Slight nitpick is the box it came in is throw away. For storage get yourself a sip lock bag and keep the battery out of the sensor. The best range I got with this unit was maybe 30 feet.

Edit: after 3 bbq sessions and 2 hot smoking sessions the item has stopped working. I tried two new 2032 batteries and the thermometer doesn't power up. I've contacted their support hotline and a specialist told me their technical team will contact me by email. Will keep this updated.

Elissa D Lee: I have tried 2 different ones of these and neither have worked for me. Very difficult to get connected to your phone. Never have worked. Wouldn’t recommend

Brad M. Davis: This was a cheap way to see whether or not we needed a more expensive and more full featured bt thermometer. It worked, but was bt only and we found that having a local readout was really helpful, and then it died after a year and that was good data too. Also you need to remove the battery after each use unless you want the battery to go dead. Buying another for my next bt thermometer :)

Luis M Nunez: A los 9 meses de usarlo esporádicamente (1 o 2 veces al mes), el sensor de temperatura tiene un error y ahora marca desde prenderlo una temperatura de +200 ºC (a temperatura ambiente).

Solicite apoyo para resetear el sensor, pero no ha habido respuesta de la empresa.

eduardo bejos: No es para nada exacto tiene casi 20 grados de diferencia hacia arriba , tú carne se quemará seguramente. Es una basura de artículo no lo recomiendo , fue demasiado tarde cuando me di cuenta que no sirve.

GREGORY P BARTOS: Battery it came with didn't work but had a spare. During the first grill with it it just completely stopped working and looking to return it now. Doesn't read temps anymore. When it was working, range was very poor

Amazon Customer: Installation is easy, no issues. Pairing was easy. It has no range. If you're more than 10 ft away it won't work. I replaced the battery that came with the unit, thinking maybe it's old. Even with a brand new battery it has an extremely weak signal. From my den to my kitchen is 10 steps, it won't go that far. So much for using it in my outdoor bbq, it won't even work inside a house with no walls to block the signal.

Ben Snyder: Product seems fine. It took me over an hour to pair it with my phone's Bluetooth. Then I got to the phone's pairing the phone asked for a 4 digit code. I put in 0000, 1234, PYLE and iBBQ, nothing worked. I looked over the user questions on Amazon and found people with the same problem. One of Pyle S's answers was to use 0000. I tried again, no luck. I had the manual in PDF form on the screen. I kept trying 0000. I kept getting to the pairing moment where the light on the fob end of the thermometer was glowing green constantly trying to pair. Finally I discovered the magic trick: when the green light is glowing constantly, Press the pairing button yet AGAIN. Then it will pair. Not intuitive or automatic but that's the trick - press the pairing button AGAIN after the light glows a constant green.
