MickMick: Been wanting one a long time, so many i Looked a long time previously trying to find a decent temp gauge that took a regular battery not hard to find complicated watch battery, good size and weight with larger display and gave up several times for like a year, i started keto carnivore diet and really needed one so looked even further like 20 pages and then wow i got even way more than expected and a great price, quality looks great, excellent features like good size, large temp display, comes on/off as opened/closed, long unto needle like probe at end, really nice velvet like storage bag, additional extra DURACELL! AAA battery along with detailed small screwdriver to change the battery later on when the already installed one goes dead and even a included offer to receive another additional free temp gauge, wow i blown away, added built in loop design to hang it up, feels great to get a good deal everything and more you hoped for, oh and looks like a warranty as well. St. Andrew's Grill & Bar: I own a restaurant and have a hell of a time to find good instant read thermometers. Better than most so far have had it several months and still works well. Love the magnets in them so they can just be stuck to the exhaust hoods after use and odn't float around.

ChrisInKent: Dear daughter is a commercial caterer and demonstrated what she uses last time we visited, which is very similar to this item. It's chalk and cheese compared to my old item that could only be used outside the oven and reacted very slowly. This is easy to use both outside and inside the oven, you just have to check the chart that comes with it to see what temperature you need for what you're cooking, and when used inside the oven you can set a target temperature alarm. Using it more and more in everyday (domestic) cooking, really pleased with it.

Isabell: Zuverlässiges Thermometer das offenbar mit einer Batterie wirklich lang hinkommt!
Das Thermometer ist wirklich toll. Zum einen kann man es nutzen um sporadisch die Temperatur mithilfe des ausklappbaren Fühlers zu messen oder eben dank des langen Kabels auch beipielsweise die Fleischtemperatur im Backofen zu messen, ohne ständig die Klappe öffen zu müssen. Die Handhabung ist denkbar einfach - ausklappen und das Gerätnist an oder den langen Fühler einstöpseln und das Gerät ist ebenfalls an. Die Anleitung ist auch auf deutsch und schön verständlich beschrieben. Man hat verschiedene Möglichkeiten das Thermomenter einzustellen um z.b. einen Weckton bei einer bestimmten Temeratur zu erhalten. Damit gelingt das Fleisch / der Fisch oder Ähnliches immer.
Ein riesen Pluspunkt ist, dass das Thermometer nicht nur magnetisch ist, sondern auch für den Fall das keine Magnetische Oberfläche in der näheren Umgebung zu finden ist ein Klettverschlussystem beiliegt.

Der lange Fühler ist von der Länge her perfekt für den Backofen oder Grillbetrieb geeignet.

Die Reinigung ist denkbar einfach - Lappen, Spülmittel, reiben, abwaschen und fertig.
