Wendy in Florida: EDIT: UPDATE Aug 21, 2023: Two years later, it developed a brown spot and then the display became so light it was unviewable. However, it was used 2-8 hours a day for two years before this happened. My husband is an electrician, he carefully took it apart and we found a tinted glass plate with the big brown spot on it. The bulb in this thing is not replaceable - this is one of those buys that, when it goes, it's time to buy another. So what did I do? I loved this projector and feel for the price point and amount of hours we put on it, it was a worthy investment - so I bought another one to replace it!

This was purchased as a TV solution for our bedroom, used with a small Roku and handheld Bluetooth soundbar, all of which is perched over our heads to transmit the picture to the wall screen we put up on the opposite wall at our feet. We call it bedroom theatre. It's sorta like being in a drive in, but instead of a car, it's bed. Anyway! Chief: I wanted to review this projector on its features and add some recommendations for future features.
Love the wireless 5G connection. Connecting to my wireless router was simple and easy.
Blue tooth connection is great. I was able to add a blue tooth speaker and blue tooth keyboard and mouse. I did have to play around a little bit to get the device to connect, but that could have been the device. I had no problems using the USB ports. Simple and easy
The upgraded speaker is a great feature. The sound quality was amazingly good.
Picture quality was very good even with light coming in from window. The picture was sharp and clear. Easy to adjust.
I was glad to see the device now comes with a storage protector.
The directions for the IOS mirroring were incorrect if you have an Iphone X or greater. You have to open the control center and swipe down from the upper right corner to access screen mirroring. One disappointment was when mirroring pictures from my Iphone. The screen did not rotate on the projector. However, I had no problems getting the screen to rotate when mirroring movies etc...

Sean: The media could not be loaded.  This is one of the better ones giving you good picture and sound and a lot of options found only on more expensive projectors. In this price range its probably the best one you can get.

The image is very watchable under semi lit conditions. You do not have to sit in darkness. The brightness level is quite good even for a budget projector. There are plenty of adjustments available but don't expect 4k quality here. It's pretty decent.

The audio coming out of the projector is good. You don't necessarily need external speakers It's not hollow or tiny. Connecting BT speakers is fast n easy. There's a slight delay occasionally but it's not too noticeable. For a $200 projector this works quite well and projects an enjoyable experience.

UPDATE: I had an issue with the OPF and popping sounds from the BT connection soon after I got it. Seems like I got a dud. They sent out a replacement and it works with no issues. The customer service was excellent. 👍

Jeremy KnollJeremy Knoll: We bought this to use for movie nights, but also for outdoor visits with friends and family (watching movies and playing video games together) while the pandemic continues. The projector took about 20 minutes to get set up in my living room. Most of that time was figuring out how the 4d keystone feature worked. From the photo, the projector is on my right and the screen is an 80" diagonal pull-down about 18' (2.5M) away. The projected view size at that distance started at closer to 200"+ diagonal before I fit the view to the (much smaller) screen. Definitely worked the best with lights out, but was still quite clear with the living room lights on. Connected easily to our existing sound-bar, and the sound from the device itself was good too, when I used it to play PS4. The image quality is a little bit grainy (subtitles look pixelated), but based on other reviews and manufacturer feedback here, I suspect that's due to the heavy keystone I used in this initial set-up. Definitely a good value for the money!

high5: Overall impression: light weight, image, sound and connectivity are satisfactory of a projector at this price range
Image quality: no problem in a dark room, I had to adjust the picture mode from standard to user to reduce brightness, contrast, saturation etc., because it was to bright for my eyes. In a room at daylight the picture is not very clear, but still acceptable at a distance of 5m in my case.
Audio: Good for built in speakers.
Connections: I used HDMI for a tv-tuner and Wi-Fi for my i-phone. Setup was no hustle and screen mirroring worked quite well. Watched a few YouTube videos. Keep phone close to projector, which might be difficult, if projector is ceiling mounted.
Operation: Batteries for remote controller are not included. The manual in different languages makes it easy to operate this projector. Unfortunately the remote controller is not always responsive quickly.
Had a problem with the digital zoom, until I had figured out the function to reduce the image to 86%, because the picture was too large to fit the screen. My Sanyo Z4 has a manual correction.
The focus wheel is large enough, but a little rattling.
