ThatGirl: I love this couscous as a side dish or alone. I add water, butter, and salt. It taste awesome as well with some cheese sprinkled on top. It is very fast cooking, which is also a plus.

B. Mandel: Quality couscous -easy to cook and very forgiving about the amount of water you use. I don't even measure. So many ways to enjoy couscous. I usually go the simple route -some butter and maybe some garlic or grated cheese... or as a base for a stir fry. You can also be lazy and throw just about any sauce you like on it -including cold tomato sauce and then just nuke it for 30 seconds -bam, done.

RoseBlue: Thin small box but Biig flavor and cooked volume. Honestly, a few cups of water, shake of couscous and in 5 mns or less, you have great tasting grains that can be seasoned for savory or sweet uses, or just used to thicken stews and add texture to sauces. It's a delicious, absolutely no hassle or skill required staple that takes just a few minutes to make. Bring water to a boil, turn the fire off, shake some couscous proportion into the water and quick put a lid on it and leave it alone (no peeking because it's steaming the grains in there) and in 3 or 4 or 5 mins, remove the lid and you'll find a soft steamy tasty pot of grain, like magic increased by maybe 10 times the amount you shook into the water. Add veg or shrimp or whatever you like, and try it with a drizzle of tahini... so good. Obviously, a favorite "fast food" of mine.
