Angel: I don’t normally feed my dogs dry food, but they love this kibble

LeiC233: My dogs love this kibble. I have 2 dogs under 10 lbs, so this is the best option I have been able to find for them in terms of the size of food. A flat shapped disc is easier on their tiny teeth than most of the other brands. A small bag will last about a month, for one dog, giving a third of a cup twice per day. Also made my dogs poop solid and one color, so it seems to be a healthy choice.

Alan: Have been using this food for almost a year now with my small breed dog. The kibble is small (about 0.7cm) which was important. The packaging could have included Velcro or zip-lock to keep in the freshness, but its small size (4lbs) only mean he goes through a bag per month.

Ed hansen: My dogs love this. We changed their food, looking for something more healthy. They’re small dogs so Acana was just too big for them to chew and they weren’t eating as they should. So we did some research, Merrick makes this brand with is a great company. We use Dogfoodadvisor when checking out dog food and treats ect. It’s highly recommended on there as well. The kibble is nice and small, perfect for their little teeth and mouth and they seem to love the flavour ! Yes its a bit pricey for the size of the bag but in all honesty, it’s your dogs health. You can’t put a price on that. It’s good for them and it isn’t full of junk. It’s worth the price.

Katrina: I wish this was available in Canadian stores because I have yet to find it! It’s so expensive but it seems to be the only food my 10 year old wiener dog can have where he doesn’t get itchy and bloody ears from scratching. His coat is super shiny and soft and his bowel movements have lessened. 2-3x a day compared to 8-10. I wish it wasn’t so expensive :(

bluejasmine: I like this food and so does my little Jack Russell. The bites are smaller and for her, at 15, its easier for her to chew. She loves the taste and I like that fact that its loaded with healthy ingredients, including vitamins and herbs. My girl is almost 16 and she has been eating this food for about three years. She just had blood work done at the vet's office and he said that he can't tell the difference between her blood work and a puppy's blood work. So it must be nutritious!

Gail Swearngin: I have a Boston terrier and I would always come across lists of dog foods that were categorized as poor quality, medium, and excellent. I always seemed to have on hand the poor quality dog food despite the fact that I bought it at a pet store and didnt pay the "poor quality" rating price. This brand always seemed to make the excellent quality lists across the board. Plus it isn't as expensive especially if I get it off of amazon. I just subscribe to it and a little bag lasts my Lucy a month. She loves it. I like it too. She has less gas and poops a lot less too. I know that tmi. But Boston's are known for their horrific farts. So the less the better. Its always my husband that sleeps downwind from her. So I haven't heard him complain as much that she is making his eyes water as much as before. Plus the frequent pooping was a hassle. This dog takes FOREVER to ewalk the entire yard so the less she has to poo. The better for me. Plus its awkward having to stand on the porch while she insists on the constant eye contact she requires to poop. And it has made her coat a lot shinier and her skin less flakey.

Dawn F.: I like many of the ingredients in these foods and the fact that you don't have to be rich to feed your pet a healthy diet or a decent pet food. Whole Earth Farms pet foods are pretty good. I highly recommend them. Our little old Papillon dog enjoys it. He has problems with his teeth (as most of small dogs do) and it is easy for him to eat. The only downside (if you want to call it that) is that the small breed only comes in one flavor, unlike the cat food.
We also rescue cats and all eleven of them love this brand food. Two of our cats have food allergies and they do very well with it.
