Emilio: Have been using these for years. Easy to install. Never tested the quality of water but it does taste much better and I save by not buying bottled water.

Sailerman58: I was skeptical after reading some reviews about these replacements leaking. I had zero issues with them. Turned the water off, took out the old filters, put these in and turned the water back on. Glad to have my water filter system back and working great. Hopefully they are still producing in 6 months. I will buy again.

Monkey's Momma: There's not much to say. They are replacement filters for our under the sink drinking water filtration system. Lowes has finally fazed out this system, therefore they are fazing out the replacement filters that go with their system. Bummer! Whatever filters they have left are no longer available in store and online they wanted around $130. I decided to check on Amazon and much to my surprise I was able to get them (brand new) for $80!!! So I bought 2 sets. I'm very happy with this purchase. This will give me another year of use out of our current system and buy me time to look into a new filtration system.

Christine: I have used these filters for a few years and never had a problem installing. Something has changed as I think that possibly the manufacturer is not the same. I had extreme difficulty installing these filters. Had to quickly shut off off the water supply as water was spurting all over the place. You do not have to shut off the water per instructions and haven’t before, installed in just minutes, was great! These filters were horrid and took me an hour and a big cleanup!!! I am going to buy another filtration system at the end of 6 month change! Don’t want to go thru that again!

Damazon Buyer: As some have stated in previous reviews.. I bought this filter kit from Amazon Deals, and I noticed that the battery package has been opened, and a dirty looking battery is in it's place, and 2 of 3 filters have moisture around the seals, and some mystery debris on the threads. It appears that the filters were installed previously, and then put back in the packaging. Am I getting new filters, or will I be installing someone else's previously used, dirty filters? Kind of gross. This might be a new low for people, and for Amazon. Amazon needs better quality control, and people need to pay up for new filters, and not potentially return their dirty used ones, if this is the case.

EsKezzy: After reading some of the reviews that said, "Don't buy from this seller!", I went to the Whirlpool website to see if they sell filters directly. After finding the right filters for my system, I scrolled down to the section for "Where to buy". There I found a link to Amazon which, when clicked, brought me right here to this product.

When the filters arrived they were packaged in a nice retail box with Whirlpool branding. The ends of the filters with the color coded connectors were covered with the clear plastic caps. The filters were not individually wrapped. I followed the instructions that came with the original system to easily remove the old filters and screw in the new ones. There was a little bit of water leakage during the exchange process, but none after. Also following the instructions, I let 10 gallons of water run through the filter to clear the charcoal fines. BTW, 10 gallons takes a long time to get through. After all that water ran through, the water coming out of the tap is crystal clear and smells and tastes as expected.

The package included a replacement battery for the 6 month cycle timer. I was not expecting this, so it was a nice surprise.
