It's like having a big person in your bed. The pictures are only after opening it. Then I washed and dried it. (Took a long time to dry bc it is so huge). It was really thick and firm and heavy. Too much for me so I cut a hole and took a bunch of stuffing out and sewed it up. Now it's perfect. It really is so comfy! The bits of memory foam are squishy but it also keeps from going flat.

I love how fluffy it is. It is almost to fluffy. I've gotten used to it and it has maybe gotten a little less mass which is a good thing as it was too big for a long time. I don't like the cover that came with it. It felt like it was wicking moisture away from my legs. Even after I washed it. Irritated my skin. I just use another body pillow cover on it. The body pillow itself has a nice fabric on it. You probably could use it without a cover as it is feels good on my skin but For the need of cleanliness I prefer a cover I can wash instead of the pillow.

The pillow gets very firm, so if that is what you are looking for then it is great. I like it for hugging it at night, but if it’s for the head, i think it tilts the head too far up because of how tall the pillow is that you wake up with a sore neck.

After reading reviews on this pillow, I purchased one hoping it wouldn’t go flat in a few weeks. I am not disappointed. This is the most full pillow I have ever seen. I have been using it for a couple of months now. It is now more tolerable because it has been smashed down ever so slightly. Honestly, it is so large and heavy there is not much room for it and me on my side of the bed. There was little to no smell. I did let it air out a couple of days before I first used it. The cover is nice and snug. The pillow does not move around inside it. It does fit the standard body pillow cover I already had. It is tight fit. I considered returning it because it was so full, but I am sticking with it. I am 5’8” around 140 lbs and made in the USA. If this is what you are looking for, go for it!
