I fill my mug with the cubes and enjoy my negroni with them (see photo). For those who may wish to try a negroni, it is one-third Campari, one-third gin and one-third sweet vermouth. Mix and serve on these wonderful cubes. A slice of orange is optional (my preference is no orange), but the actual recipe calls for a slice of orange. The cubes are a bit difficult to get out of the tray but with practice it's easy enough to push them out from behind as the tray is rather flexible. Filling is no problem at all. Very good purchase.

DBeaudry: Either I have massive hands or they used a kids hands to model the product. It's 8 inches by 4 and 3/4 inches. The ice cube size is just 3/4 inch deep by just under an inch width and length. It comes with a silicone "lid". The lid fits the contours of the tray, but only sits on top, it doesn't latch on anything. A sheet of plastic wrap would have better grip. Would not purchase again due to the ice cube size as it's a hassle to get them out.

Daniel Lyons: I love these ice trays. So easy to use. I love just bending the tray and easily breaking the ice into pieces. What is there to complain about?

Also, they use space more efficiently than most trays so they can make way more ice than most traditional trays make.

The only issue that I had, and this is a personal preference thing, is that because the ice cubes are smaller, they melt faster (more surface area in contact with your beverage). So I end up having to use more ice. No biggie, next time I'll get silicone trays with larger cubes.

ton.tonicton.tonic: The trays themselves are pretty cool, and they are easy to clean and use. They make more than enough ice for two people (depending on how often you use ice I guess). The shape is cool too. The "cubes" are kind of small, are also perfect bite sizes, not too small I mean. When they arrived and I took them our of the package, I did notice a blemish in the divider part (which does make them easy to stack by the way) but I dont think it is harming the usability of the product. Along with all of that, they are nice but its hard to get the ice out of the trays. The descriptions made it seem like they would just slip out and into a bin easily, but it was difficult to even hold the trays to empty them. Not a big deal though, can just grab the ice. So I I like them and do recommend them. These are perfect for a small apartment for sure though.

SoCal Hiker and Prospector: This ice cube maker makes small ice cubes in a hexagonal shape. When I received them, they did not have any kind of funny smell to them, and there was no funny taste to the cubes.

Any buyers should be aware, that the ice cube tray covers come attached to each other. You just have to pull them apart, and you will have two tray covers. Not sure why they did it this way, and there are no instructions or any kind of pull tab to indicate that they are indeed two covers, and not one ill designed cover.

I had two main issues with these molds. First, you have to remove the ice cubes individually. These aren't like plastic trays, where you can bend and crack the ice cubes loose at one time. You can bend them, but I haven't had much success in pulling out a single cube out of the silicon mold. The second issue is that these are pure silicon molds. So they bend rather easily. Even with the cover on, I found that it's hard to get back in the freezer without spilling water. The cover does not snap on to the tray. It more just covers the tray loosely. Also, the cube molds go all the way up to the cover length. There is no small gap like you would...
