I wanted a tea maker with a glass pitcher instead of plastic. This has a glass pitcher but it is lightweight so be careful with it. I always hand wash mine. The maker makes great tea. Very easy to use with bagged or loose tea leaves. Has a black and stainless classy appearance.

This appears to be a generic version that many different brands put their label on, and the only difference is that this one is over $20 cheaper at the price it is currently selling (under $40). I'm two brews in and it has worked find to replace my old mr.coffee unit. Wanted to go with a glass pitcher because of the way the old plastic pitcher would stain, and was very difficult to clean out and remove the brown all over. The pitcher is extremely thin glass, and I am questioning how long it will last, but feel good that I spent less for the same unit and will look around for a replacement pitcher that fits. Someone mentioned a Costco pitcher being used, but I haven't looked yet. Plastic top is very thin too and as others have mentioned, warps over time.
UPDATE 11-17-2023- Just like all the other interviews, the glass broke after about my 5th brewing. Literally tapped against the fridge shelf and shattered. When I say tap, think the gentle brush of a finger on a baby's cheek, normal containers would never break. I will seek out another pitcher that will work, someone else mentioned they bought one from Ikea that worked. Height should be the only real...
