JAMES VINING: I have a favorite restaurant where I order pickled mushrooms as a side dish every week, so I had hoped that these would be as good. These were bigger than those I was accustomed to, but the real problem was the taste. These were sour, not slightly sweet. I just finished solving the problem on my first of two jars by (1) taking the mushrooms out of the jar, (2) slicing them in half, (3) taking the juice, warming it up, and adding sugar, (4) returning the mushrooms to the jar, and (5) pouring the cooled and sweetened juice back into the jar. That solved the problem, but I still have another jar to treat that way. Altogether, it is a lot of trouble, and I won't order more if I can find a more satisfactory product of this type on Amazon.

Florida Mike: These are all mushroom caps so no stem or whatever pieces. They are much closer to crisp than mushy in texture and have a fresh taste and the marinate they are in is delicious if you like peppers and onions and garlic. We serve them as an appetizer or meal side cold or warmed in the air fryer but also use them in salads and pizza and soups and omelets. They are slightly big so sometimes we slice them or chop them for a flavor ingredient
