Read&Ride: Delicious, and on hand when you realize something needs mushrooms. Good enough to reconstitute and eat as long as tougher texture doesn't bother you. Nice mixture. Good container for keeping vermin out for the duration.

RebekahLeaPhelps_Author: Love this but remember once you put these in water, they expand and way more than if you’re wearing them dry. When I first use them, I was going by a recipe and I took out way too much. I ended up using it and omelettes and a quiche to get rid of it.

just john d: I have found it to be very good tasting, and definitiely adds new demension to food. Primary use is in broths, I usually make bone broths, cooking bones for 24-36 hours. Mushrooms are a regular ingredient in my soups, so I tried something different. As the cost is a bit on the expensive side I decided to stretch the use of the mushrooms, so after reconsituting a smaller amount (about a 12 oz soup bowl's worth) I made a puree. Used shrooms, filtered the reconsitute water, added Camini (aka baby portabella) stems to make puree (I use buttons in soup). Best of any broth I have made before and I am in my second century doing so (lol).
