Lee_66Lee_66: I got these when Amazon was out of fresh mushrooms. The mushrooms come in thick slices and have that salty "canned" flavor to them. I always prefer fresh but if you are someone who does not like having to cut them yourself, then this would be a good alternative. Other than that scenario I wouldn't suggest them as fresh is better and they already have a flavor which you might not like for your dish.

lovecoats: These are organic and low in sodium. Only three ingredients, organic mushrooms water & salt. Great to have on hand for casseroles, stroganoff, pasta sauce, etc.
