Capperdog: I live in Galveston, TX where the humidity rarely falls below 80%. During the summer humidity is 90-100% daily...
Since purchase at the beginning of last summer the dehumidifier has ran almost continuously keeping the humidity in my studio easily at or below 50%. It is a very powerful (and quiet) dehumidifier.
I had a minor problem with this unit, but Waykar's customer support team has gone over and above to take care of the issue and truly cares for the satisfaction and happiness of their customers.

MultiUser: I was very pleased with this machine during its 16 month lifespan. It was a powerhouse in my approx. 800 square foot basement apartment. It's quite loud (when you're in the same room as it) but tolerable as the noise was just pushed air with no overbearing motor sound. Like a powerful floor fan on high. Unfortunately it suddenly started freezing over, rendering it almost completely ineffective.

Even though I was 4 months out of warranty, I figured it wouldn't hurt to reach out to Waykar. After some back and forth via email, it was determined that the machine was toast. They offered me a brand new unit even though they had zero obligation to do so. They suggested a different model which I did try, but it didn't work out in my space. They've now offered me another model as sadly this one is out of stock. My fingers are crossed I will like it as much as I did this one and that I will get more than a year's use of it! I am fully confident that their amazing customer service will be there to help me should I experience any problems again. It's due to that customer service that I would recommend this brand to others. They obviously care greatly about their customers satisfaction....

Mais la deuxième année, j'ai dû communiquer avec le service à la clientèle de Waykar pour un problème de perte de réfrigérant et j'ai été très satisfait de la solution proposée soit de remplacer gratuitement mon ancien appareil (PD08E) par un neuf (PD08F).

Peter F ThomPeter F Thom: The dehumidifier worked perfectly for about a year. Then it all of a sudden stopped extracting water from the air. I had extended my warranty for a second year (offered to me during the first year at no additional cost) so I reached out to the manufacturer (Waykar) with my problem. They were very responsive. After asking me to perform a few tests on the unit they determined that it had somehow lost its refrigerant and offered me several options including replacing the unit with a new one. I was very pleased with how Waykar Customer Service handled my problem.

Jaime Hamlett: The dehumidifier works great and continues to work great for several years with no issues. The humidity in my home was easily 80% on a typical NC summer day. It keeps my home around 50% and I empty the tank in the morning and before bed. It was easy to set up and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I was able to keep it in between my living room and dining room and could barely hear it. I would highly recommend this dehumidifier over others that I researched based upon the reliability of this product.
