ray: The top bag is a little small but useful for a few items for a short ride , side bags actually hold quite a bit once you drop them down. Just make sure you have a good strong rack to mount it on and it can hold a couple of 2kg bags of pet food ( one per side bag ) , which is what I used the bags for a few days ago

Rob V: This purchase/bag may be too good to just use as a bicycle bag. I went to the African American museum on the train with family. I took it with me. The shoulder strap made it an excellent travelers bag. The size is just right to hold while sitting on the train and on the commuter city bus and double decker tour bus in D.C. Also since i didnt have time to finish my food; I simply wrapped it up and unzipped the top compartment so that it raised up to provide the extra storage I needed to put it inside and bring it home with me. I might and it is a good trip startout bag; that is, put in fruit, napkins, water, inside and hand cleaner outside in the little pouch. So I'll probably use it as my onboard travelers bag and not get it dirty riding on my bicycles unless I get another bag. I might add, while in DC, I saw many biker/commuter with similar bags with the available drop down panniers on their bicycles.

Aggie '61: Just back from a 3 day bike adventure; and found the Trunk Bag very useful. Plenty of capacity. I like how the lid opens up like an old VW Van roof for extra unexpected capacity of tall items.
The one short coming is the attachment via Velcro straps. They are 'secure' enough; but the bag moved from side to side over time. I was constantly checking the Velcro straps to insure that all was well. A metal clip that snaps to my bike rack would speed up the install and give more 'lock down' stability.
For the price, it fits my requirements cost effectively.

I found this bag to be SUCH a pleasant surprise! I was It is quite versatile to accommodate an array of items. The top is noted to have two zippered portions, to include one allowing additional angled room if needed. Such top is also designed to store last minute items as well. The side pockets offer hidden fold down panels to allow for additional space as well. Moreover, I appreciated the "shower cap" neon cover to use if needed. The long, duffel bag styled handle, coupled with the two velcro bottom straps, made it easy to use as my travel bag/purse. Notice, there are also two, smaller handles to use as well. It further fit nicely onto my standard bike rack - no special rack needed. I've been impressed with the quantity of items I can fit into the bag. I purchased the bag to use for day trips primarily. Last weekend, we were able to use it to hold fresh produce, to include cantaloupe, corn, etc...from the local market as well. I would definitely recommend this choice overall.
