Amazon Customer: Great pack. Easy to install. Waterproof feature is nice to have. Plenty of size for normal gear. Be aware of the tube size you are installing to. Mine was an Aventon. The tube is a little slightly thicker than whatever Iberia sells. It does fit, but I don't feel it properly snaps into place. Will just have to watch over time to see if it stays on.

slinkyfish: I have purchased 5 sets of these bags over the years, for all the bikes in my family plus some for friends. They are perfect for people who use their bikes as their primary transportation. The fact that they can be installed and removed in literally seconds is a feature i never thought I'd care about, but it's surprisingly useful. Two downsides: 1. the zippers are the weak spot. If the zipper on a top pocket breaks, the bag is useless and needs to be replaced. 2. the bags warp inwards at the bottom despite the stiff panel inside. Eventually, they start to brush your spokes. Solving both of these problems could make these bags 5-star.

BC Rider: I love the clip on design, it makes it quick to put on and take off. I had to cut down the tabs slightly as the rack factory welded into my bike frame has a larger top bar and the space between the second bar and top bar was less then the length of the tab. But once I cut the tab on the bag, the bag clips on and off with ease.

K: They are sturdy as I use them for most of my shopping. Water-resistant, they come with a rain cover, but, for me carrying that in a bag takes up room and almost seems to be a waste of space. They were easy to install and take off.

Joshua FishmanJoshua Fishman: I've had these panniers for just over 3 years. I bought them for a 5-day bike tour, and they served that purpose wonderfully. Since then, I've used them at least once a week, and often much more than that, for groceries, commuting, and the occasional tour when I can find the time.

Pros:
- The durability at this price is insane - I've put these bags through the ringer, really stuffing them to the max time and again. (Caveat: About a month ago, after nearly three years of regular use, the spring on the attachment seems to have finally bit the dust on one of the bags. Honestly, it might well have been my fault, as I'm not super careful with them and I've definitely dropped the bags on the attachment level a few times. Either way, the bag is still totally functional, I just have to make sure I manually close the lever.)
- Speaking of the attachment mechanism - it's SO convenient. My boyfriend has older panniers that he has to velcro onto his rack. This is just so much smoother.
- HUGE capacity. I've never had less space than I needed for groceries, even though many times I thought it would be close. I also regularly pack 2+ weeks worth of dirty laundry in them to take...

Fungo Batte: My cheap, old panniers were totally worn out. I wanted to replace them with something that would be a lot more durable, would offer more storage options, and would (optionally) offer quick-release. Cost was not really a limitation. I expected to choose from numerous high-quality products, designed for cyclists far more adventurous and dedicated than myself.

I was sorely disappointed. Searching not just Amazon.ca, but also every online cycle store I could find, I saw no panniers that came remotely close to what I was looking for. These Ibera PakRak panniers were my Hobson's choice. They're satisfactory in some ways, less so in others.

The good: they're well-made, a lot more solid than my previous bags. The material is tougher, and the seams appear to be strong. They have comfortable plastic hand-grips for lugging when not attached to the bike, a draw-string liner to protect the contents, as well as waterproof slip-on covers for bad weather.

The mediocre: the attachment system is awkward and does not appear particularly durable. The bags hang on three plastic hooks, of which the top two include a plastic trigger-like locking mechanism. Metal hooks would have...

My husband and I bike a lot, and we camp for many weeks during the summer. The bikes always go to the campgrounds with us. We often use them to ride to the beach, other park attractions, or to the store to pick up a few items. I was getting tired of using plastic shopping bags hung over my arm to carry things to the beach or home from the store, and I often wished we had a way to carry snacks or cold drinks with us. Besides, carrying those swinging plastic bags never made me feel very safe. We also usually have our dog along with us on a break-away leash, and we carry our back-pack style folding chairs with us. It is quite a load, and we needed to be able to take it all safely.

This rack and the bag/panniers will be the answer!

The rack was easy to install on my 26” bike, and we like it so much that we might get the same rack...
