Amazon Customer: Product is easy to use. Very accurate. (I tested it using other thermometer). But it only reflects temperature in Celsius. So we the user have to convert to Fahrenheit. Or just remember anything over 37 degrees Celsius (98.6 F) means you’ve probably got a fever. If you want to know exactly how high.... you’ve got to convert it. I wish this had a way to select Celsius or Fahrenheit - but it doesn’t. I’m looking at it as a way to keep my math skills sharp. But it is a bit of a hassle.

S WilliamsS Williams: One of the main reasons this product was chosen was because it came with a hard case to protect it. This one said it did in the bullet points and it also included a picture with the clear case with the thermometer. Would have shopped for a different one that DID come with a case.

William M: Edited 5/14/2020: Those of us who are in our "golden years" often have body temperatures lower than the 98.6-degree standard. This POS measures low, and coupled with a lower body temperature, it often will not even display any temperature at all.

Doesn't beep when ready to be read, as the description promises, so I probably hold it in my mouth longer than necessary. Other than that, it appears satisfactory.

In case you missed the fine print, though, be aware that it displays the temperature in degrees CELSIUS. That's fine with me, as I'm temperature-bilingual. If you buy one and the Celsius scale is unfamiliar to you, be aware that 98.6 Fahrenheit shows up as 37 Celsius (normal for an average person). Minor deviations are within the range of normal.
