Bob Stevenson.: I am 70 yo and this is my first fountain pen. I picked this pen because it looks great and writes well. I had an incident when I forgot to replace the cap and the tip dried out. A disassembled the pen, ran some water and it was writing well again. I like the control I can achieve, between dark or fine lines.
I recommend this pen for anyone who has extra cash and wants something small that looks good and writes well.

EdProf9: I wanted some cartridges to fit a couple pens that require the international standard cartridge/converter, and I have used a bottle of the Mysterious Blue by Waterman and love it. However, it's getting down to where it's hard to extract the ink from it, so I thought I would buy these cartridges. When I use all the ink in it, I will use the remaining bottled ink and w/ a craft syringe, refill the cartridge.
I like the blue-yellow tint; it flows beautifully and yet is sufficiently dark to give a warm, blue tone to the scripted text.
