Whether you're out camping, hiking, or exploring the outdoors, the Wartech Tactical Spring Assisted Rescue Knife is the perfect choice. Morris Workman:
Note that "spring assisted" doesn't mean you push a button and it flips open. You have to use your index finger and flick the little eyelet on the blade to make it open. Closing is a real nightmare, since you have to use your thumb on a little sliver of steel inside the handle and bend it left to release the blade, keeping your thumb in the path of the blade. Close it too quick and you'll be putting your Blue Cross/Blue Shield to the test. Those problems aside...a very sharp blade with cool green designs (on one side of the blade only). Also, handle is actually metallic green, metal with plastic inserts, which is way better than the ad photo (which makes it look like it's cheesy green plastic). Looks more space/sci-fi than zombie, but a terrific conversation starter/argument ender. Best of all, the price is right.
Haven't tried to sharpen the blade yet, which will be the real test, but plenty sharp right out of the box.

Tharen Stills: I wasn't expecting much for a knife that was so cheap. however Wartech has met and exceeded all of my expectations. It's a little large but i should have expected that when reading over the specs. It feels super solid in my hand. I've read that some people think that it's a little hard to flick it open, but they either have absolutely no finger strength or they're used to hairpin triggers. It has the same tension as all of my other spring assisted knives. It came sharp. Like, sharper then most other factory edges. I've had the knife for a few weeks and it hasn't gone dull and i haven't sharpened it once! it's a great knife and it looks awesome too! I've already recommended it to all of my friends and i'd recommend it to you too!

Twitch Toxin:
I bought this knife in August from Amazon of last year and have seen it a handful of times at a few gun shows. I was a bit disappointed to find out it is surgical steel but to my surprise cuts other material besides skin pretty decently. Haven't had to sharpen it yet, but definitely will need to soon.
Very, very wicked design and the part on the actual blade has lasted surprisingly well. Yet to tarnish, peel or show any signs of wear expect around the bottom end and very tip of the blade(these two areas are the most used, and pretty commonly on items at work that aren't exactly knife-ideal. I'd stay away from attempting to cut other metals though.)
I have yet to try to "seatbelt" cutter, but have found several amazing uses for the "glass breaker" end.
Again I was thoroughly impressed and grateful for how long and well this blade has lasted.
Amazing find & exceptional buy. Couldn't be happier to express my love of the Biohazard symbol, matches my belt buckle perfectly ;D
If WarTech ever makes a PURPLE AND GREEN knife like this or similar design with the biohazard symbol, I'm pretty sure I'd s*** my pants in excellence and buy at least...

Cody:
I ordered this knife seeing the pictures and thinking "Wow, that thing looks awesome! I can't wait to show everyone that sweet looking knife!" but deep down I expected it to be cheap and flimsy and to be just a knife to look at and nothing else.
To my surprise it's actually pretty well made! Blade came "sharp" but with just a few passes on my knife sharpener it was razor sharp! The blade shape is awesome in my opinion because it seems like most knifes stay sharper on the "curve" of the blade and seeing as how this knife blade is just two huge curves its awesome!
Blade is surgical stainless steel, as well as the metal inlay underneath the grips which are plastic, but not a really cheap tacky feeling plastic, one of those very smooth "is that a metal?" kind of plastics.
Spring assist isn't super powerful but does open the knife fully when flicked with some force, don't expect it to open just by blowing on it though, the lock hits the very center so seems to be very safe, and the glass breaker and seat belt cutter probably work but who knows. I wouldn't count on it. Knife is SURPRISINGLY HEAVY! In my opinion that's good cause it feels like it's...

The Equalizer: This is a cool looking knife and for the price very reasonable - someone had posted that it wasn't sharp... well the one we received was very sharp. The price is very reasonable for what you are getting. I had gotten this for a white elephant gift exchange and everyone kept trying to trade for it. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is that it is very heavy for the size. Has some great extras on this knife - like the seat belt cutter built into the unit. The other thing that should be include is an instruction on how to close it... I have worked knives like this before so I understood the mechanism but new people to this type of locking knife might be a bit confused .. The spring assist makes for easy one hand speedy operation.
