Alexann: Kept my corgi from licking his wounds and he looked absolutely adorable while wearing it. It is easy to use and he looked way more comfortable than with a plastic cone. He slept like a baby wearing it.

KrisKris: Following a small eye surgery, my 11-year-old girl was struggling with her huge plastic e-collar. Even after cutting it down (which you're not technically supposed to do, lol), her eating/drinking was impeded and she just looked very uncomfortable. We legit used a piece of cardboard with a hole cut in it for her head, which worked better for her (and somehow actually managed to keep her from rubbing her eyes), but for a more sure-proof solution, we bought this inflatable donut and were relieved by how well it worked. We're pretty sure our girl just thought it was a built-in pillow for easy napping!

MeganMegan: I bought this cone because my large breed dog recently had surgery to remove tumors on 3 places on his body. This cone was very comfortable for him compared to other collars that we tried. He basically had a pillow around his neck and had no trouble sleeping in it. I also appreciated that it was easy for him to eat food and drink water while wearing it.
2 of my dog’s incisions were in his body—one on his front shoulder, and the other on his back thigh. This collar prevented him from getting to those at all (at least with his mouth), which was helpful.
One of his tumors was on his ear, so part of his ear had been removed. While wearing this, he found a way to contort his body so that he could scratch his ear with this hind leg. Once I realized that this was happening, I switched him to a Comfy Cone, which solved that issue.
This may work for you depending on your dog and the location of their injuries. I would use it again in the future for injuries that aren’t on his head because of how clearly comfortable he was while wearing it.

Amy: Not only do these look like lifesavers, but they really are! I had my two rambunctious huskies spayed and neutered on the same day (I'm either insane or a genius!) Anyway, I was really worried because my dogs would not have accepted the "cones of shame" under any circumstances. These donuts were perfect. They were just big enough to prevent my dogs from reaching back and investigating their sutures but still allowed them to eat, sleep, and maneuver easily. I used these with surgical suits and the combination was perfect. They sailed through their recovery well. They did not try to remove the donuts (thankfully), and they seemed comfortable. My only criticism is that it took some lung power to inflate them. I know that the valve has to be pretty tight to prevent air backflow, but still. Phew! Once you get the groove and get the first bit of air in, it wasn't too bad.

Christian Russell: Size comes up a little small as my dog was still able to lick her wound with it on.

Nicholas boyer: Dont bother. Put it on my small yorkie, he kept it on for all of five minutes before he sat down and got straight at the wound on his foot without any bother at all. Don't waste your money

hazel: The material is soft and is good quality but the sizes are not accurate and run a little smaller. Would recommend item as much kinder to our pet than clear lamp shade type.

Madison QuinnMadison Quinn: We just got our Corgi nuetered two days ago, and he didn’t get a cone from the vet because he didn’t lick while he was there for 24 hours, but we decided to get him one after he licked a little bit just for peace of mind. We got the Medium size and it fits him great, it’s really soft and comfortable, and with a little adjustment from the velcro on it he can’t slip it off. It fits great, and we have peace of mind that he won’t lick when we’re out of the house.

I will admit he doesn’t look thrilled about having it on, but he is still getting used to it right now. He can still walk, lay down, sit, breathe, and eat normally with it on. Best of all the exterior is washable and it was really easy to Inflate.

Brandi Pearl: I bought this inflatable collar for my dog so he didn't have to wear his cone anymore. (due to allergies and stress he gnaws himself raw...still looking for a product to fix that..) When I first blew it up and put it on him, it seemed to work just fine. He wasn't biting or scratching, and even better, I could see his handsome face without the cone blocking it. When he walked around the collar didn't hurt as bad as the cone when he rammed it into the back of my knees and it wasn't a loud crash when he'd smack it on the walls.
However after about an hour of wearing it, he used the couch as the right leverage and found just the right position so he could chew his back raw again. He looked like a contortionist as he stretched right past the collar to chomp on his butt.
I don't think it is a defect of the product, I think my dog is too lean, long, and bendy and can reach past the collar. So if you're going to purchase this product and you have a stubby dog, who isn't an athlete...you should be fine. Just something to consider.
