Jeana H: I bought these as toys for my 6yo daughters birthday, she and her older sister were instantly obsessed with them. The sound quality is great, and the range is incredible. Easily reaches 1-1.5 miles even without a straight line of sight (my daughter wanted to test it while in the car and her sister was at home). It has a wide range of radio frequencies to use in case there's overlap on someone else's device, can be used as a VOX monitor, and the screen is crystal clear showing battery and volume levels and the chosen channel. Though all of those bells and whistles are a little too in depth for a 6yo, they're still easy for my kids to use, and they seem to be good quality so far. There's even an LED flashlight built in on the top for when they want to play outside in the evening. If they hold up well I might invest in a second pair. Overall very pleased so far with this purchase!

Chewers' mom: The kids (3 and 5) were confused and had trouble with the side button to speak. This is normal for walkie talkies but they have never used one. I bought it because I liked the idea of a lock so they wouldn't change the channel, but the lock button is in the front with the other buttons and easy to accidentally unlock if the kid is pressing all the buttons. We just got them so I can't speak to quality but the sound seems fine in the little bit I used it. So seems like a good product but not designed for little kids.
