C.Hill: I bought this for my son, so he won't be late for work or his college classes. He works full time nights and has classes Mon-Wed and had overslept a couple of times. Now he sets a phone alarm and this one across the room, so he has to get up to tune it off! I love the blue color! I may get one for myself.

Bren Bowers: I have had this clock just over a year and in spite of problems, I do like it. It runs fast, gained 5 minutes in a year.
It is hard to reset, buttons don't seem to work but in anger I jabbed the set button a few times and it started working so I reset it.
I like the dimmer so It doesn't light up the bedroom at night and I don't need to see it i the daytime but if I did I could easily change it. It is easy to read.

Dave: This the third one of these that I bought, one for each side of a king- sized bed 's bilateral tables, and one to replace one of those clocks whose overall maximum brightness had decreased by about 30%. This makes the numerals unacceptably faint in the light of day. Otherwise that unit was fully functional. I have had the other of the initial two for many months, and it has functioned perfectly in all ways.
The unit comes with two small cubical "feet" which plug into the chassis, and help to prevent tipovers. There is a micro-usb to USB A power cord which extends from an included rated transformer/rectifier which plugs directly the wall AC. There is an abbreviated documentation foldout included , but the operation is pretty much intuitively obvious, and well- marked as to all buttons' functions. The numerals
are ~ 2" in height, easily read.

Both clocks have have kept perfect time, synchronously set, from the time of installation.

There is a 2 AAA battery backup for the settings, but batteries will not operate the clock, without its power cord.

George S.George S.: I previously had a radio/alarm clock with battery backup where the battery backup stopped working. We have frequent power interruptions, so I wanted an alarm with battery backup. I don't ever use the radio feature, so one with just alarm was sufficient. And I like having two alarm settings. This clock fit the bill at a reasonable price, and other reviews seemed good. I like that all the routinely used time and alarm controls are easily accessible on the top. Some other alarm clocks have these settings on the back, which is inconvenient. The clock and alarm times are easy to set, and controls are obvious and intuitive. The "Dimmer" button allows you to easily adjust the brightness of the display. When Alarm 1 and/or 2 is set, little images appear on the left side of the screen showing they are on. Pressing the "Alarm Off" button turns these off (press once if only one alarm is set, press again if both are set). To set the alarms, press the one you want to set (Alarm 1 or Alarm 2), and the display will start flashing. Use the hour and minute buttons to set. Once set, the time will continue to flash for a few seconds then hold at what you set. Or you can press the alarm button again...
