Amazon Customer: I was using the plastic attachments for my wahl bravura but knew there was better metal ones. I was dragging my feet about getting them and my coworker had me use hers. The haircut I was working on was still nice but it needed that little bit of fine tuning. The metal attachment was it!! Perfection and I bought them right away.

Krystal Kerns: This guards are great but you do have to brush your dog before using them. I have 2 poms and 2 doodles, it makes it faster to groom when I brush the before.

I bought a much less expensive "all in one" kit - and the blade couldnt even get through their hair! I purchased this Wahl comb set for the 5 in 1 Bravura which I also purchased. MUCH MUCH BETTER! The instructions are well written and the combs snap on quickly and easily. I tried several before I found the appropriate length I wanted for the pups. They look presentable now and I think in about 3 groomings I will have broken even considering that grooming where I live is $60-80 per dog! The WAHL videos are instructive and that's what ultimately persuaded me to purchase these.... that, and the fact that OTHER COMBS DO NOT WORK WITH 5 IN 1 BLADES! Hope this helps you decide.
