Edward G Bungay: I have a golden doodle and a Burna doodle and this clipper does everything I needed to do I don’t even believe I will have to bring them to the groomers any longer because I can do everything on my own at home. The only thing that I would like to see is metal blades attachments. If anyone knows where I can buy the metal blades that fit on this shaver please let me know

OKOK: I used these clippers on my poodle. They work like a hot knife on a butter! I cannot believe I struggled with human clippers on my poodle, since human clippers do not cut right, would get stuck and are too loud for my dog. These clippers are so easy to use, low on noise, easy to maneuver, cordless with an option to use the cord. They are just great! I just received them and did sanitary cut and paw pads cut. I was done in less than 5 min! These clippers are awesome!

Candace: The very first time using this Wahl dog clipper, I achieved an adequate haircut for my miniature poodle-mix dog. It’s super quiet, light weight, easy to use, and I expect that with time I’ll get very good results. Though it’s not cheap, I’ve easily recouped the cost in one haircut plus a couple spot trims.
Highly recommend this clipper.

Melly6831: It gets the job done. Just purchased to shave my pixie Bob cat for summer. I only shave his back as that’s where he sheds the most to prevent hair balls. Also find he is much more activate once shaved; does get pretty hot in my place at times. My cat has a thick coat and had to keep going over the same spot but eventually got the job done. Would recommend this for thin to med thick coats only.

ed julson: This trimmer does exactly what it is supposed to do. Cuts the thick hair of my dog well, even cutting through some of the matting. It's very quiet and doesn't bother my dog and the head doesn't get hot. Lightweight and easy to handle and the charge lasts for longer than the roughly 60 minutes I used it for in trimming the dog. I've only used it a few times, but loving it so far. I highly recommend you get the optional metal comb set and ditch the plastic ones that come with it.

The Professor: While trying a friend’s set of cordless trimmers on my thick-furred Aussie Dog, I knew exactly what my next Amazon purchase was to be.
After reading plenty of reviews and holding several different models, I decided on the Whal Commando set.
The set has a substantial feel, yet is balanced and easy to hold/manoeuvre around his (sometimes) squirming body. The set arrives with easy to use, snap-on ‘shoes’ that help maintain an easy, no-nip cut. I like the battery meter, AND the instructions that explain how to maintain battery life. The unit can be charged in a charging stand, or horizontal with a direct plug-in. I’ve administered three full body trims so far, and haven’t needed to recharge!
This unit isn’t cheap, but everything about this clipper REEKS quality, from the feel in your hand, to the well-built, adjustable, cutter blades. The soft vinyl storage pod (included) will help keep trimming shoes, instructions, charger, spare blades, and other trimming accessories together for use when needed.
Speaking of blades, the adjustable cutting head easily shears its way through thick, double-coat Aussie fur with out ‘tugging’ (ouch!), OR bogging down!...
