Before her I struggled finding someone for about a year who can groom my dog the way I wanted. I went to several and something was always cut incorrectly which was very disappointing. That is why I decided to do lots of research on how to groom my schnauzer and which clippers would best work for us so I decided to go with this Wahl. It was so simple to use and I would really recommend it to someone who's using clippers for the first time. So happy with how he turned out he was due for a hair cut. I shared 1 before and 2 pictures after using the Wahl, all was done with only the clippers.

Amazon Customer: Easy cordless, but comb broke and couldn’t replace. Not good on thick dog coat. Have go over area frequently

Lori L.: I've been cutting my own puppies fur with these. It does say it's not meant to be groomed on full size dogs over and over. So far they work great The only complaint is after three cuts the blades don't seem quite as sharp. I'm not sure if I'm just not oiling them enough but they do seem a little sticky

Alex: I've used these once after using a cheap set and what a difference. They work well. They cut our goldendoodle's hair well. Never overheated (used for 2 hours).

Battery/Charging:
They really got this right.
1. Nice long charging cable.
2. Charging cable plugs into a very nice convenient charging stand.
3. Cable can also plug directly into the clippers and be used wired. Very well thought out.

Really happy with this purchase. Even though it was pricey, it'll pay for itself after 4-5 cuts.

My only complaint would be for that price, it would have been nice to receive scissors and a comb along with it.

ALCALC: If there were more stars, I’d given them! Wish I had gotten this years ago. I have a Cavachon which has a mixture of Cavalier and Bichon fur. It curls around itself and easily causes tangles which can get matted if not groomed frequently. Combing in between alone doesn’t entirely eliminate the problem because it curls right up again and is very cotton like.
I used to cut with blunt dog sheers and cheap trimmer but it wasn’t great looking and took forever so I started grooming appointments. I’ve been through several. One was hard to get a hold of to make appt. and always a different person. The next was rough with her and she was traumatized. They shaved her entire tail!!! She looked like a rat and couldn’t walk right after. She kept walking sideways with her back bent and hitting furniture. Then we found a great groomer, but rebooking within the six weeks or so was near impossible which left me around three months in between appts. I had to trim with cheap clippers to get us by.
Enter this beauty. After four months now not able to get in, I decided I need to try myself with better clippers. I read reviews and decided on this cordless hoping it would handle her...

babybelle: This glides well through my poodle’s hair. Cuts easily. I love that it is cordless. Battery lasted more than long enough to do a whole body trim, still had half a battery left and she’s a 30lb moyen. It’s not too loud and it didn’t get noticeably hot.
The reason I give it 4 stars is because the attachments are very flimsy. One of them arrived with a broken prong... Probably 5 times the whole head of this thing popped right off just from a slight tug on the fur. I really like the functionality of this groomer but ultimately I don’t think it will be very durable.

kubda: exellent product, but it seems common that the charger is failing the customers. I fiddled with mine forever (I've had this a year and a half) and had to get the shaver sitting "just right" on the charger cradle, but usually it wouldn't work. I REALLY didn't want to throw it out when it costs as much as it did. I decided to see if it was a problem with the cradle or the connection. I searched online and was able to purchase a new * cord * for about 20 bucks. That made all the difference!!! Works like a dream now - charges super fast and holds the charge for at least an hour of continuous use.

Except for the problem with the original charging cord, this has been one of my best product purchases.
