Torey: The price is good - I would assume almost all purchasers are buying to feed to wildlife and it can be gobbled up pretty quickly.
The one issue is that there are lots of twigs and stems and other pieces that can clog bird feeders.

Claude Lambert: I have heard no complaint from the birds in my yard, mid-size, like cardinals, or big birds like woodpeckers. No matter how much food I give, there is none left the following day. Smaller birds of course enjoy a mix of small seeds.
Watch for squirrels: they can climb on a vertical pole and enjoy all the sunflower seeds you leave. If you like your squirrels, distract them: they enjoy bits and leftovers of bread and various fruits.
