AdE: These were purchased for school supplies for a community event in my neighborhood and they were a hit. They were big enough for the supplies being giving out and colorful enough for the kids to enjoy.

4 Lil Lambs4 Lil Lambs: This was a planned and purchased item.

I have 35 kids to buy for for Christmas. Yes, we could draw names, but some of these kids can't afford to draw names... I've got a knack for stretching my dollars.

So, I was looking for something I could use as a "stocking" but would be useful afterwards. So, I started looking at these at the Dollar Tree. But the ones at the Dollar Tree feel so badly constructed, they don't last at all, and the corners are not reinforced. Still.... it got me to thinking.

I've been comparing features of these bags for many months. And finally made a purchase of cost vs colors vs ratings.

So far, I'm pleased with them. They look great. So many colors! We've not put a lot of wait into them yet, but then again, Christmas is still several months from now. As we stuff them and use them, I'll try to give an update.

The cords are made from a plastic enhanced cording - they will probably come untied with any significant weight. Finding a way to secure the knots will be prudent.

Everyone who has seen them has loved the number of colors. I think they will work great as "stockings".
