C.N.: Ease of opening: Good but not excellent as it needs to separate bags at the dotted line.
Won't recommend for very heavy weight object, especially big square/oblong shape box as the bag can tear quite easily. Just wish all the plastic bags makers/sellers can provide info. on the thickness. It does make it so much easier to choose without having to spend time to read thru all the reviews.

They are very strong and have never ripped one time. Durable, reliable bags. Forget all about all those other high dollar brands of trash bags like Glad and Hefty. TLC: I came across Hippo Sacs by chance...the store was sold out of my usual Tall garbage bags. Once I saw what kind of strength I could get for a couple bucks more, I was hooked! These have a reinforced bottom, are super strong, a little taller and have tie loops that won't rip on you! I've never had a leaky bag since I changed to these babies! Buy a small box and I know you will be impressed and will be buying more! (I never would have believed I was raving about a garbage bag and yet...!)
