Janice A Gardner: We use Tidy Cat multiple unscented litter which is a fine grain. Since using this mat the trail of litter is significantly reduced as the pile captures the litter and keeps it deep in the pile. Only negative is that because of that you can’t vacuum it needs to be shaken out - which to me isn’t a negative. I would highly recommend.

Amazon Customer: While the mat is good quality in every way. The kittens will not walk on it, but would walk all the way round on the litter tray rather then walk on the mat. Very puzzling. So I’ve moved the mat so there’s a space between the litter tray and the mat. I’ve put them on the mat to let them know it’s ok to walk on. Perhaps it feels strange to their paws.
Cannot fault the product, just the kittens not sure of it.

Mhibbs: Love this item!!!! We have a litter robot and our cats were jumping out and getting litter everywhere, this mat/rug has stopped that.
It is soft and looks like a regular rug/bath mat. The cats have been found laying and napping on it. We take it out side and shake it out from time to time but usually we just vacuum over it with our stick dust buster. (A normal vacuum of course pulls the rug into it).

I love that it doesn't look like the plastic liter mats and the litter seems to go deeper into the base so unless it is time to shake it out and wash it, you can step on it and not feel or get litter on your feet.

Oh and after we shakenit out we have thrown it in our washer and dryer to keep it smelling fresh.

Would 100% buy it again!!

Happy Shopper: This mat has three things that make it worth buying in my point of you.
It catches just about all of the cat litter that lands on it. You can throw it in the washer and it dries really quickly.
We have two litter trays and have one of these mats under each of them, and a spare to put under when one is in the wash.

Ericka Garza: I was looking for a mat that would actually catch the litter but also that was nice to look at. I found that a lot of the mats on here are plastic and very thin. This one is really soft actually works.

ss: I am surprised that this mat works so well! I got the larger mat and that actually catches much of the debris that falls. I barely have to vacuum this corner now, just shake out the mat when I remember.

MaMs: A standard sized mat. Very soft and "fluffy". I use this to put my cats food bowls on. I can't comment on putting this on different types of floor, whether it will slip or not because this is on my carpet. I think it serves its purpose.

J. Hunt: I have had several of the plastic mats which do the job okay but my cats tend to dig so much they have torn these mats into holes. This is a fabric mat and yes it does look like a bath mat! but is does the job. I use the wooden pellet cat litter and when the cat leaves the tray it does trap the litter and keep it off my floor. I have my tray on top of the mat and can easily hoover it whilst in situ. The cats haven't tried to dig through it either. A surprisingly good mat so far and would recommend.

elfinorielelfinoriel: Kitten wouldn’t initially step on it but ok now. Wish it was bigger. Catches many of the bits, but some still escape onto floor. My older cat tries to get under it which doesn’t help. Has also made a difference since started using the biodegradable litter tray bags. They’re more expensive but it’s worth it.
