Youknowmyname70: What a lovely book! The pictures are stunning. This is an artistic photo journal of all the stunning places and details of picturesque Paris.
The photos are to savor. There is not a lot of text, there is just enough. Because lots of writing do not do this beautiful city justice. Images do.
For someone who has always dreamt of visiting Paris, this book makes me want to go even more!
If you love Paris and flowers, I would think you would love this book, like me!

GiuliaGiulia: Per gli amanti del genere è sicuramente un libro molto valido. Le foto sono meravigliose, la carta è un po’ spessa (non troppo, bisogna stare attenti a non piegare male le pagine) e dai toni opachi. Il libro è un po’ più piccolo del formato A4, tuttavia le immagini si vedono molto bene ed è una piccola delizia per gli occhi. Mi ero promessa di acquistare questo libro almeno un anno e mezzo fa e finalmente l’ho preso. Consigliato decisamente

Seite für Seite wundervolle Fotos über alles, wovon ich träume, wenn ich an Paris denke. Im Inneren haben wir Kapitel über Parks und Gärten, Blumenboutiquen, Marktblumen und Blumenpräsentationen. Lane nimmt uns mit auf ein visuelles Fest aller schönen Dinge; mit üppigen Ausbreitungen der Herrlichkeit, die Paris im Frühling und Sommer ist. Das einzige Manko an diesem Buch ist, dass die Jahreszeiten Winder und Herbst komplett übergangen werden. Ich kann nicht anders, als zu glauben, dass es auch in den tristen Monaten in einer so schönen Stadt wie Paris noch viel zu fotografieren gibt. Wer weiß, vielleicht erscheint exklusiv in diesen Monaten ein zweites Buch. Wäre das nicht ein Vergnügen?
Zu jedem Kapitel gibt es Einführungen, in denen Wörter verwendet werden, um die Pracht der Bilder widerzuspiegeln. Wir bekommen Foto für Foto von Herrlichkeit, die Frankreich schreit, von Hausnummernschildern, Straßen, Ladenfronten, Haussmann-Gebäuden, Balustraden und natürlich...

Lee Osbourne: Purchased this “ London in bloom” and “Paris in bloom “, I was amazed by the breathtaking photography, and Georgianna eye for detail. This book captures the beauty of all the flowers featured in this book. Just when you think you’ve seen the most stunning photo you turn the page and there are more delicious treats for the eye!. Two of the most beautiful books I’ve come across, and I do own a few. Highly recommended purchase.

Relyn Lawson: I was so excited to receive my copy of Paris in Bloom this afternoon. Each photograph in this book is gorgeous, light-filled, beauty-FULL. One of my favorite things about Paris in Bloom is the unexpected pairings. On one page you'll have a single rose in a tiny pot, and on the facing page is a mirror hand-painted with pale pink roses. One of my favorite pairings is a clutch of antique books with gold roses on the spines next to a picture of two fully opened white roses on marble. Wow!
Georgianna Lane has an eye for beauty and the talent to capture it in a way that allows the rest of us to stroll beside her on her Paris walks. Her flower photographs are so lifelike that, I swear, my house began to smell of roses and lily of the valley. Not only will this book set you to dreaming of your own Paris visit, but Georgianna has even given a Spring Tour of Blossoms and Blooms at the back of the book. I certainly hope to take that tour some day. Till then, I'll dream with Ms. Lane.
