So far, this is the best dammed foil cutter I've ever owned. Easy to use, very sharp, and sticks to the fridge nicely.
That being said, I've only owned a few months, so plenty of time to break. If you don't see an update in the next couple of years, assume it's pretty damn durable as well...

R. Shaw: Have tried many foil cutters, most of them are quite cheaply made and lack any durability. This cutter is more expensive but seems to be much sturdier and cuts the foil very cleanly. At his is a little harder to squeeze, but worth the effort and the money.

LeleW: I'd previously bought a much cheaper foil cutter. (I believe it came in a three-pack for less than the price I paid for this single foil cutter.) It was just fine initially, but then literally fell apart; the little screws on the inside that held the metal pieces inside the plastic that actually cut the foil came loose and then fell out.
This foil cutter is *so* much more solid than the others that I bought before and effortlessly. I am confident it may actually outlast me.

Richard Briggs: This is an excellent & stylish product which works well and looks good. I like that it is magnetic, so that it can be stored on the fridge or any metal shelf made from magnetic metal. One thing that is a minor detraction is that the seller’s descriptive material implies that two units are provided; whereas only one comes in the box. That said; you only need one, so it’s not an issue worth complaining about.
