Victor Sasson: This electric wine opener replaced an elaborate mechanical one I have been using for a decade or more that lost a tiny screw and became useless.
The Foneta Electric Wine Opener worked right out of the box; there was no need to charge it.
So far, I've opened 3 bottle of wine with it (we drink a bottle or so a week). And I wonder why I didn't buy one years ago. It is far easier than a mechanical corkscrew, which sometimes requires extra muscle or damages the cork so it doesn't come out.
As an older America, I appreciate the ease with which it extracts a cork and then with the push of another button, ejects the cork.
