AC: Not much to say about these - they're dried cranberries. The addition of the juice does indeed make them softer and, you know, juicier than the more typical varieties, and even though the juice is unsweetened it still adds sweetness to the cranberries, if that's your thing.
So they are slightly sweeter, substantially juicier cranberries. I'd recommend them for snacking, but probably not for baking, since you do lose some of that characteristic tartness that you have in the unfortified varieties.

G.: I wanted to make my own trail mix for on-the-go and stumbled upon these dried cranberries. i need to stay away from sugar in general as my blood sugar level rose recently, but I didn't want to go cold turkey for fear of rebounding (looove me some sugary stuff). Still wanting to incorporate some natural sugar in my diet, I decided to try these. I know that I need to limit dried fruits as well, since they are concentrated with sugar so much more so than natural fruits, so I only consume maybe 10-12 cranberries per day (and nothing else sugary - that I'm aware of - for the rest of the day; I'm not saying this is the way to go, it's just what I'm doing for myself). The nutrition facts noted on the back of the package says "total sugars 30g including 25g added sugars" per serving. I'm assuming the "added sugar" refers to the apple juice concentrate, and the serving size is 1/3 cup or 40oz. That's a lot of sugar for someone like myself, so I thought it'd be important to note that here. With that being said, these are sweet, tart tasty treats (sticks to my teeth though) for those looking for a healthier snack.
