Jessica Wilson: I like that the machine makes nugget ice, however...it makes about 2 cups per basket of ice. That is enough for one large drink. AND you have to stand next to it to keep putting in the miniscule amount of water, and the machine shuts off if it gets full, it doesn't keep running to keep the ice frozen. I wish I would've researched this unit more thoroughly, because I would NOT have bought it to replace the last one.

Amazon Customer: I waited to write my review once I’d used this for awhile. A couple of things I don’t love are that the ice gets backed up quickly where it comes out. If you remember you need to go in and move the ice around to get more. It’s a small container so you don’t get a lot of ice anyways. It’s also pretty noisy when making ice and also just when it’s on. Other than that, it works fine.

Certified shopper: Love this little ice maker and the nugget ice! Unpacked it, washed the insides out, drained and sat it on the counter and allowed it to "rest" for two hours (per instructions) so that the coolant could settle back down after shipping. Then, added water and ran the cleaning cycle. After 15 minutes, rinsed out and drained it. Then added distilled water and within six minutes the first ice nuggets were shooting out of the machine! Its really nice and we have an appreciation for iced water again, especially in this heat! This makes the hospital or fast food little nugget ice and we love it! I filled up a few bags and placed them in the freezer. If you don't use all the ice right away, it melts back down and makes more ice. Its not a freezer, just an ice maker. So if you want to keep or rather stockpile the ice its making, you must get it in the freezer. I would suggest doing that if you plan on having ice for more than two people or for future use. Would definitely purchase again. Not very big, takes up same amount of space as a bread maker or a air fryer. You will have to keep up with filling it with water/emptying ice in order to keep making ice but to us, it's not a big deal.

David T Henderson: I find this the hand used appliance I have purchased, ever! Its mind numbingly simple to use. We had bottled water (our well water is suspect) and it makes ice. As the ice in the tray melts it is recycled to the Reservoir. Are you in it except roughly 2 1/2 bottles of freshwater (16 oz.) at a time. Today the unit has been flawless. I have only two negative, call in critical not really negative, comments on the unit.

On the positive side, one either can make a large cubes of ice or small cubes of ice. The cubes resemble small little symbols with very thick walls. We prefer the large ice but the small ice works great. It is also quick. I find it amazing how fast the bin fills with ice. It seems always to be there when we need it.

Now for my only critical comments about the unit.

As a unit makes ice it dumps the ice into a small bin. Problematic is that the ice occasionally hangs up on the shelf between the freezing and the ice bin. When this occurs the unit shuts down until you tap the flap pushing ice into the bin. I will qualify this statement by saying I’ve never allowed the unit to sit long enough for all ice to melt completely. I have no idea if it will...
