Anita B.: When I bought this Igloo Ice Machine, I thought I was buying a very high quality product - as that was what Igloo stood for. But, I found out that Igloo doesn't even make the ice machines anymore - it's a company called Nostalgia. My ice maker, bought 6/2022 lasted until 10/2023. I didn't buy the extended warranty because, as I said, I thought I was buying a high quality product. I bought a different Igloo ice machine and bought the two year extended warranty.....so very sad that you can't count on Igloo anymore.

Russell Stephenson: This product does exactly what is advertised. Makes good ice, very fast, and seems to be a good product. The only downside is the noise. It is significantly louder than my last two ice makers. I am guessing the noise is down to making the ice faster, so the fan is louder. Not sure, but my guess. Anyway, good product, but noisier than most.

Jason Eaton: We've loved this ice maker for the last 15 months! Easy to use, fast ice making, easy to clean. No issues at all However last week it started cycling the mechanical deal that holds the water and moves the ice to the tray. But it wasn't ever turning on the condenser or pumping water. After a bit of research I found. A video referencing a switch that fails fairly often in these. I found the switch for $2/switch and bought a cheap soldering iron kit and in under 45 minutes I had it working again. Here's the switch you'll eventually need. Shelley Harris: Can anyone tell me how long it is supposed to take to get a basket of ice. At first, it took 1 hour, 45 minutes. I thought this was a little long but it seemed to work well. After a short while, it started taking right under 3 hours, in the last 5 months it's consistently taking 3 hours and 5 minutes. It's only been in use in our home since January, 2023. Otherwise, I am happy with this purchase. Please advise!!

Vancouvergurl: We got this to replace our last ice maker (Frigidaire/Igloo ICE103) which we used a lot over the last 4 years -- I thought it was the same size, but it is actually smaller which I'm sure will be fine... I liked the idea that it had a cleaning function but it still requires manual draining -- but while our last machine has a drain in the side (with a screw-on cap and a rubber plug under it -- so two steps to get it open) this one is rather inconveniently placed on the underside of the machine! And the instructions don't actually explain how to get the plug out - nor that it is just one piece and as soon as it's out the contents will come splashing out! Since I had to clean the machine before using it - the experience was messier than I expected.

Cat Lahey: I've only had it for a day but filled a bag of ice last night. Worker perfectly! After getting it, let it sit for the hour on a flat surface, cleaned it, put water in, 5 min later the first 9 pieces fell. ****Day 2 made more ice and tried large size cubes, 1 got stuck, happy I was keeping an eye on it. Back to small size cubes only.
