That being said, the ear is easy to use. I'm a little confused on how to use the forehead. The video of the mom using the thermometer on the kid wasn't a very good one. Also, I read in Web MD that the mouth or the rectum is the most accurate because the temperature on the forehead and the ear is about one degrees higher. So if you use one the forehead and th he ear, just minus one degrees. So if your temp it 101 on your forehead, its most likely 100.

Otherthen that, I do like the thermometer because I have trouble breathing through my nose. The colors and the numbers are easy to use. Also, there is a battery indicator on the top right hand corner to let you know if the battery is low. Remember, "LO" on a red color does NOT mean it's low.

I do wish that the reading would stay on longer so I can record it.

TraceyTracey: I’ve been fighting with my old thermometer for years. It took forever and I felt like it never gave me an accurate reading of my temperature. This product is great and works nearly instantly! The one concern my husband had is that you do have to touch the forehead for it to read, but since it’s a family thermometer I’m not worried about that. If you have kids, worried about COVID, trying to track basal temperature, or anything else, this product will be your go-to. Super quick, easy, less invasive and more sanitary.

Bonny: This is easy to use and the digital display is easy to read, if it was accurate. Took my forehead temperature three times in a row back to back all three times different readings. As soon as you turn the unit on it has a red screen and reads the word lo. If I use the in ear option, it appears to work fine. But I’m trying to use it on the forehead it just isn’t functional. When it gives the temperature after you scan the forehead it literally stays on the screen for about a second and a half before it goes back to the red screen with the word Lo. I thought maybe the low reading was due to a defective battery, but I replace the battery with a brand new one and it didn’t make a difference. Returning and looking for a different one

Sarah TanguaySarah Tanguay: This was a great purchase and should have made it years ago. when my first kid was a baby. So much easier and faster to use compared to a traditional digital thermometer. I did compare the reading of it compared to a traditional thermometer under my baby's armpit and they both came out within a few tenths of a degree difference from each other, the forehead being a little hotter. I can do it while my baby is sleeping, which is so much easier than having to undress my baby to take her temperature. When your baby is sick, the last thing you want to do is have to undress them and stick something into them, so this is a much better option and was a great value.
