As a full time caregiver for an aging parent, I needed a new thermometer that would produce a quick temperature reading, as my Mom is prone to fever & highly susceptible to infection.🤒 So, when I suspect fever, I need to know ASAP. After using this thermometer for the past few months, I can honestly say this one fits the bill. It’s super fast, and the color-coded alerts for high fever (red), mild fever (yellow) or fever-free (green) are helpful, making it easy to see during nighttime checks in the dark. Having large numbers you can easily read is also a definite plus! My only complaint (and reduction of 1 star) is that it can sometimes be temperamental when trying to take the temperature under the arm—the easiest way I’ve found to tackle this frequent task. It sometimes doesn’t immediately register a temp or requires more than one attempt at getting the thermometer in just the right position under the arm. I’m unsure if there is a way to lock the setting to the underarm temp location (I haven’t figured it out yet if there is!!), so I have to change from the default setting (oral reading) to the underarm option EVERY single time I turn it on to...

I have found this to be the best digital thermometer I ever used. Easy to read, easy to use. Turn on, press the blue button to choose oral, under arm, or rectal (baby) and take you temp. Fast accurate. Nurse /wife uses this model too. I bought another for myself as I have need if it often to minitor my temp. Definaly would purchase again.
