Caitlyn C.: I bought both the cat and dog formulas of this. They seem to work very well. However both bottles leak. The sprayer leaks too. I lost some because of this. If the bottle tips over it will leak like crazy. Also when you spray it it will get on your hands.

Chris DIYer: I buy the gallon jug and fill the hand sprayer...lasts for months.
I spray around my bedding where my cats and I sleep. I do NOT spray onto the cats themselves. Used liberally, this product works fine. It seems to knock the fleas, bed bugs, etc down as advertised. There are better products out there with nasty chemicals. But, this is an item I can use weekly w/o causing harm to me or my animals. It doesn't stain.

VictoriaVictoria: We bought this a while ago and use it to spray the garage and any areas where we spot a flea. Our cats are on monthly flea medicine from the vet so this is supplemental. We switched from an oral medicine (it was hard on their stomachs) to a topical and we’re in a transition period. I spotted a couple fleas on my cats’ blanket so I sprayed this on it today and let it dry. You’d have thought I rubbed the blanket with catnip, she was obsessed and acting nutty. It was cute at first because she was rolling around and I was glad she wasn’t repelled by the smell (it smells good but she’s picky), but then when I tried to pet her she slapped my hand and nipped at me…she doesn’t normally do that. It’s been several hours and she’s still acting very possessive of her blanket which is unfortunately on my bed and not being her friendly self. The product works so we’ll continue using it, but not on any bedding again. I think in her case it might be a bit too strong because she’s high.

packetrat: We've been fighting a terrible flea infestation for going on two months now, which somehow afflicted our indoor-only cats before spreading to the rest of the house, and didn't realize what was happening until they'd become entrenched. I'd hoped this spray would help solve our problem, but am now afraid to use it much, and certainly not directly on our cats.

Following its labeling, I applied this first to a test spot on each of our three cats, and waited one hour for any adverse reaction. Seeing none, I sprayed and massaged this into our largest cat Onyx's entire coat, as instructed, avoiding his face and other sensitive areas. He seemed to like it, purring throughout, perhaps just from the attention, and being scratched. Our other two were afraid, running away after my test spraying, which might have saved their lives.

Next morning, Onyx was behaving strangely, but due to our severe flea situation, all three had not been their usual selves for a while, so at first we didn't think much of this. But later that day, he became lethargic and stopped eating, always a worrying sign. Of course this happened over a weekend, when our regular vet's office was closed. By the...
