Linda O'B: Couldn't see any improvement in my kitty. I can't say if this worked like it was intended as my kitty passed. Maybe if I found out about her problems sooner I would be able to say differently. Definitely worth a try.

Elizabeth Hamperian: This product was prescribed by my vet and I saw a huge improvement in labs. Phos. went from off the charts high to within normal range. With a combination of fluid therapy the Bun. and Crea. numbers improved. There are other, cheaper brands, but they are missing key ingredients.

Don Feeney: Epakitin was prescribed by my vet for our older cat, who has some kidney problems. I add one level scoop to each small can of wet food. Both cats share the same food, and they seem to like the addition of Epakitin. If anything, they are eating better. Very easy to use.

Vivian Lopez: Excellent product but I sure don't little the new "bottle" format, the jar was so much more practical and easier to measure and use.

Dawn: I found out about Epakitin doing my own research and I was a little apprehensive to give it to my 19-year-old chihuahua. I originally tried sprinkling it on his food but he would not eat it. I did not continue to give the Epakitin because it was more important to make sure he was eating. Earlier in the year he had a full geriatric blood panel done and was in Stage 2 Kidney Disease. Recently I took him to the vet because he really wouldn't eat and he was wheezing. I was told he was in kidney failure and had about one week to live. During this visit, I was educated that kidney failure and the backup of phosphates in the system, make food taste bad. My vet mentioned that I could try giving him Gaviscon to help with the phosphate buildup. I took him home and started giving him the 3ml of Gaviscon (10 lb. chihuahua) along with lots of water by syringe all day. After more reading, I stopped the Gaviscon after a few days and switched him to 10 ml Pedialyte 2x's a day with one scoop of Epakitin mixed in, 1ml liquid infant probiotics 1x a day, two 10 ml syringes of water every two hours, veggie baby food, carrot baby food (which helps alkalize urine and reduce the effects of high blood...
